My oh my is it a good weekend for small-scale sci-fi. Spartan's Planetfall is looking awesome and there are some juicy models out there for the Resistance. I'll be picking up some of the Resistance models at the next opportunity.

I'd personally probably go with Microworld Games vehicles as some of the flyers look suitably Ornithoptery and Dark Realm Miniatures Industrial Infantry as the Fremen in their Stilsuits. The Imperial Guard from PFC C-inC would also fit nicely.

Given Monkeytroll actually seems to follow these mediocre ramblings I should probably enter his LoER only really feel like doing 6mm scenery and it's hard to justify it when competing with 28mm. Hmm. Well given New Haven is based on either Amsterdam or Plymouth a Trace Italienne seems the way to go and to justify it's entry I'll either make it as a defense line or as a Star Fort lets go for 8 sided for my Word Bearers as well. So that's 8 straight connecta bits and 8 Ravelins which must connecta to straight bit which connecta to each other at 90*. They also must have the ability to hold a 1" troop stand on the ramparts

Djinn and a Wizard this finishes of my Greater Elementals. I'm also nearing the end of both my Undead and the Army of New Haven which is why the Fantasy has tailed of recently. In the near future I'm considering another Microworld order and I'm still hmming and ahhing over which army to do next. Decisions Decisions.....

I like the djinn (you should really call that wizard Tonikk), is that one of the zulu heads on the taller of the two?

As to what army next....umm, I have no idea I'm afraid Are you looking for more SF, more fantasy, or more historical?


Oh..just noticed your addendum to the previous post....small scale is more than welcome, it's nice to get as much of a mix of stuff as ;possible. I believe there may be some STAW stuff in this round too, which is all good for showing peeps there's more than just 40 out there

Good Question Fantasy-Historical next I feel I've still got a lot of Hrin to paint.........

Having made the walls it became much easier to draw the Bastions as I could see the size and shapes I wanted in real scale.
