This one's based on a C'Tan nightbringer (metal). I did this a while ago using pink horror bits and a daemon prince head. Just painted it again cos I wasn't quite happy with the first go. I've brightened up the flesh and re-done his robes and adornments. Comments please. Cheers guys!

Love the conversion, but the paint looks a tad thick and rough (the transitions, not the texture), on the skin. I also might consider doing something to the fingers of his right hand - whether they're metal or chitin, they don't look like flesh, so it feels like the painting should reflect that. Even with that, I quite like the model. Nice work!

The above line is a joke. The joke is referencing an obscure episode from an obscure cartoon that was canceled in the 90's. I'm like 90% no one will get it. Some people will think they get it, but they'll be wrong.

I like the conversion, but I agree that the paint looks a little off. Some gentler blending might help. Then again, it could be picture quality (since I know that plagues many of my showcase photos). Either way, it's still a great conversion!

Thanx for the feedback guys. Glad you like it but I can see what you mean about the blending and suchlike. As of june 20-ish I've completely re-painted it using shades and glazes from the new paint range. I'll post some new images soon when I'm not busy painting my version of a Soulgrinder. I've been painting it on and off for the last 6-8 weeks. I'll post pics of that too when it's done.

As promised here's a photo of the new paint scheme. I've decided to use him as a Lord of Change for my Slaanesh/CSM army. I'm currently working on the origins of the force just to flesh out their history and structure.

I don't think that'll make a very good herald.
I think its way better as a daemon prince.

The proportions are a bit odd, even for a Daemon. The head is huge and the legs are tiny. The paint looks good, though.
