well, you could ask me, and i could sell them to you, you could go to bitz barn, warstore.com, ebay, or the trading forums around here.
Specifically, there's a number of different kinds of tabards, so it might do to post a picture of ones you are looking for in particular

ah, there we go. I think it's a given that those are specifically BT bits.
Your FLGS might sell the specific BT upgrade sprue which should contain these, otherwise Ebay, or start a swapshop req thread. I only have the generic short ones.
There is an off chance dark angels might come with tabards as well. I'm not familiar with the product line so it could just be talking though my nose.

I took a look and those are the ones from the upgrade spure, but im confused as to how the person got them onto the terminator as its already attached to a chest plate.
Commisar Von Humps wrote:Thats great! But how exactly did he shave off the majority of the chest and still get the tabard to look like it was as far out as normal?
trial and error, and removing a wee bit, dry-fit, remove some more, dry fit, repeat until it fits.
Come to think of it , you could do the same with the SM Champion tabard as well.

Not particularly, having trouble rapping my head around it as i am new to any concept of modeling besides cutting things off and gluing thing on for the most part.
Which leads me to ask what is dry fitting?
EDIT: Thanks for the video, might try green stuff at some other point, although i had a horrendous experience once trying to make a Vulkan conversion.

Ah.... in that case:
Welcome to the hobby mate!
go to your hobby shop or FLGS--NOT your GW and load up on tools:
-hobby files
-saws
-knife set
-plasticard (random grab-bag of random randomness is best. Get's you started with a fair number of bitsies)
-green/grey/brown stuff (you only need one, and don't get the GW brand of kneadatite, it's twice as expensive as unbranded
-miniature drill set
-florists wire or if you're lucky, something stronger but equally thin
Remember to always decorate the base FIRST, then add the miniature on top. And yes, ALWAYS decorate the base. Even if you don't paint it now, you will love yourself for it much later on down the road.
