Hi,

I started a daemon army to go alongside my growing Chaos marines and Traitor guard. As both of these armies are centred around the worship of Slaanesh i was hoping to make the army mono god so i'm planning a fair amount of count as. I'm currently using Beastmen Gors as Bloodletters as the goatness lends itself well to Slaanesh but i was alittle stuck on how to create effective looking Horrors. After looking at conversions using Dyrads i decided that i wanted a different take on the look and then i came across the cover of Daemon World.

I'm still on the fence so hopefully by posting it here and in my blog i'll get a range of feedback on whether it works or not. Tell me what you think.

all i would do is get a smaller weapon...maybe something like a cross between a plasma pistol and a melta gun. then it would work better with the thin athletic look of the daemonette.

now i knoe this next bit will probably be impossible...or at least to hard to bother with, but i wonder if using a battle sisters torso woul dwork on this too. i dunno just a thought.

but yeah i think your on to a winning idea, i like it.

i got one of these...well a male version, made out of DE warrior body, a warpspider gun and one of the old tyranid tail bits for a daemonic head, made it one time when i had too much time on my hands...will post a picture when i get round to it (or figure out how to upload/display in posts)

Sort of works, though I think a few dryad parts mixed in to get the random tendrils could work a touch better. That is if you were trying to get even closer to the inspiration picture as what you have so far works the part anyway.

Thanks for the speedy replies

@Rogues Gambit - I will have to look into making a smaller one to see if that fits beter thanks

@Orkimedes1000 - It'd be great if you could post that pic as i'm really lacking inspiration for this idea.

@n0t_u - As much as i'd like to make the mini as close to the image as possible i don't have enough money at the minute to justify buying a box of dryads just for a few pipes; although i may have to try it in the future or find a bits site...
