Working on a model for Anrakyr.

How does this look to represent the tachyon arrow?

pictures are all on their side, so its kinda annoying. However, I think it is very good, because it shows the necron way of making technology powerful,but seemingly simple.

Its made out of some dark eldar bit.

Its the front bit from a dark eldar shredder. Kinda looked like codex picture.

In the codes there is a small illustration of one. I thought the 'tails' from the praetorian kit would make a good start.

Represent a Tachyon Arrow? You would have a hard time convincing me it isn't one.

Didn't have any DE bits so i have ended up using the blade bity from the end fo the BargeLords warscythe. trim and fiel it and it slots onto the foreame quite well.

not as nice as yours but....serviceable.

Paint the arm black and the arrow yellow. And then tell me it doesn't look like some kind of batarang. I just made your necron army about 100% more awesome, you are welcome.

On a more serious note, that looks really cool, and yeah, I'd easily see that as a tachyon arrow and play against it.

Thanks guys. Ive never been much if a conversion friendly hobbiest. I was at the local store and saw the gun in a free bits bucket and had a vision of using it as such. Here is a quick pic of an almost completed Anrakyr. Thanks again for the opinions!

I love the paint scheme! I think the conversion looks a lot better when it's painted - it really helps it fit in with the model. Another thing is that the conversion is ideal, there is no doubt in what it's supposed to be. Good job.

Thanks bacon. I spent more time on this mini than any before and I'm still not quite finished. I'm happy people see it as the intended tach arrow!
