Ok so i finished my first 5 models since coming back to warhammer and not painting in ages. I just wanted to know what you guys think of them and also to get some constructive comments. I know the faces are not brilliant and i could really do with advice on how to do them better.

They look not too bad, what i would recommend is trying to highlight the motif on the shields so they don't look bland, maybe also a heavier wash on the armour to make it stand out more!

ah cool cheers,
the shields actually have a slight highlight on but maybe i should do a 50/50 highlight then a lighter highlight on the corners.

Hi guy ! if I can give you an advice, use more black washing on the armor, and then highlight with your base color. You'll have some more depth in your miniatures.

You asked about the faces...I would wash them with a brownish wash or flesh wash, depending whose paint you use, and then re-apply your skin color above on the raise portions of the model's face, ie. the nose eyebrows, high elven cheek bones (pun intended).

cool i struggle cause its in the helms but as long as the rank and file look ok i can spend more time on characters. Cheers for all the advice guys taken it on the armour already and the next batch are looking alot better
