It looks so nice in those product images with enhanced contrast and darkened lighting. It's just a huge pity that the Terraclips clips themselves are so clumsily distracting.
Still love Wyrd though. Looking forward to the Avatar Hamelin with hopes that he has the pied piper hat.

If they don't have the swirls and eye actually modeled onto that wall, that is probably one of the biggest rip-offs for a "character" mini. The one with the critter walking through is pretty nice though.

Just double-checking, you realize that's the front and back of the same mini?
Wyrd usually sculpts those sorts of details, so I assume it is part of the model...

Ah, no I didn't, but I can see now that you pointed it out.

I really like how the terraclips stuff looks - I wish they would branch out into some non-Maulifaux stuff.

Yeah, I wish they showed some sort of side angle, I agree that it's pretty hard to get a good sense of the dimension...

All of the sets, in my opinion, feel pretty generic, as far as applications to dark/horror/fantasy stuff... I think that if they did some outdoor stuff (forest, swamp, etc.), that would really expand the options, though, as everything is a bit dark/claustrophobic, though I've seen people set up some of the buildings on a grass mat, and they look pretty good.

The Dungeon Experience stuff is specifically for role playing games, the previous three sets had Malifaux's name plastered all over it, but this set is aimed for a broader audience. They just use their models for the promotional image because you know that Malifaux players are going to be the first people to buy this (and it saves them from having to explain why a Reaper mini or an old WoTC mini is on this product.

Has the model quality picked up yet. Originally the sculpts were lovely but the last bunch have been shocking
