I feel like he is finished but I'm not sure if I like the chain sword. If anyone has any suggestions/tips I'd love to hear them

i did not want all my Chain swords to look the same, so on 1 sarg we did this. (*see below*) still looks like a chain sword but not OTT

Only thing I'd do is highlight the studs on the shoulder pad just so they show up a little better.

Just the skull on his arm looks a tad strange, to dark in comparison with the model.
The paint is quite thick and the highlights at some points are to much of a contrast. The white on the vials.

There's nothing to say that he's a Salamander. If you're not sure about freehanding a chapter symbol with paint, get a fine black marker pen and draw a Salamander symbol on that white knee pad. Practice on a piece of paper first.
White knee definitely needs something on it anyway - too plain.

maybe freehand the apothecary symbol on the chainsword! and ofc some grey edgehighlights on the black

I like putting the striping on the chainswords. Gives it an old school vibe.
