Like what you have done with the shield are you going to have it have any in games affects or is it there to look cool (because it does)?

Its just there to look cool, its to represent the Dreadknights invunerable roll, its meant to be a lot older than a normal so does no have the shield generator.

I have completed the long barrelled cannon for theDreadknight. Standing it on one end its as long as the other Dreadknight is tall.

Cheers, the fluff im going to do is that the two dreadknights were originally bothers before being taken into the Grey knights. One an expert in hand to hand combat, the other an expert marksman. They both rose through the ranks of the brotherhood both becoming dreadknight pilots. Then tragedy while on planet, one was critically injured and the other suffered a similar fate while saving his brothers life.

Now both fight on in specially converted dreadnought bodies while still having the firepower of a dreadknight.

I have pinned the arms into place and have added the cannon. Its temporarily fixed to give me an idea where the gun will sit, then il remove the gun and make the arms more bulkier.

Also making a brief appearance by sabotaging my work table, Gizmo the guinea pig.

I have temporarily mounted the dreadknight to his legs to get an idea of size. A lot of brass rod and tubing are in this model making it quite front heavy, i might have a piece of scenery in front of the model so that he is resting the barrels on a wall. but ill see more when its all glues together.

Next to build is the backpack with ammo box and fule tank for the flamethrower which will be mounted on his shoulder.

Thunderhawk shaped update.

I had a break from working on the monster due to surgery and other projects, but now i have started working on it again.

Wiring is done, i have partly painted the undercarriage, missiles, and heavy bolters. The interior top deck is nearly done, been experimenting with the Army Painter washes and they are amazing.

I have replaced the antenna on the front of the gunship with one made from cut brass tube, as the resin one was bent and full of air holes.

I love that robot, ill have to play the game again and get some screencaps and sketch it out. It would have to be big, titan scale.

I am doing some slight modification to the airbrakes on the back of the gunship.

Where they are solid resin i am hollowing out the 6 slots and putting some brass etch mesh behind them. As there is a 3mm white led and the light shining through would look cool.

Another update, I have put the brass etch on the air brake, and lit up behind, and it looks much better. I am also putting brass etch on the cockpit windows.

hi all, been out of it for a while,

I have completed the lighting on the Thunderhawk. The battery connector is in the top og the gunship under the big turbo laser. to replace the battery, just pull off the cannon.
