Local GW Store is having a vehicle painting competition and I decided to add a couple more details onto my Fallen Angel's Rhino before submitting it. Touched up some of the edging and painted on all the icons and script besides the top aquila.

Looks good, only thing for me is I'm not a huge fan of the Jactura on the back. While everything else looks great, the letters aren't evenly spaced taking away from the overall look of the model....which otherrwise is really good.

I can respect that, and I'll probably erase it and just leave the sword there. The reason I had it there is because each of the transports in my army has one of the chapter's key characteristics as it's name (equitas=justice, verum-i=truth, fedelitas=loyalty, and jactura=self-sacrifice), but unlike the others this one doesn't have a scroll to write it on so it does look off.

You can always use the fonts that DA usually use instead. The one that is very cursive and have extra vertical lines.

Otherwise, looks good. Good luck with the painting comp.

Thanks, after I'm done with that Saturday I think I'll start on one of the 2 Rogue Trader Dreadnoughts I recently picked up.
They look ridiculous but with them I'm going to be posing servitors actively repairing them as they move, wires jutting from cracked panels, and servo-skulls rotating around the body to add just enough hardcore to make them presentable.

Nice, do have a soft spot for the old rhinos. I would just say though that you've put weathering and damage on it, but left the track wheels very bright and shiny, I think they could maybe do with a wash on them to dull them down a bit. Otherwise very nice and subtle.

It doesn't really show but I have some grass and stirland mud caught in all the track and splattered on the wheels.

i like it alot.. but for a dark angel rhino, im not sure what makes in fallen angel

I'm making mine loyalist Fallen, based on Astelan's marines from the book, so they're not all sticky with chaos.
