Hello all,

on this thread I will post everything about my crimson fist army.
Currently i have something about 1200 pts. of crimson fists, including:
-Captain Grimm
-Librarian
-Venerable Dreadnought Jerian
-Tactical squad Va'dear
-Tactical squad Lucevo
-Razorback Equitem (no passengers jet, but will cary a command squad into battle)
-Assault squad
-Devastator squad Balir
-Scout squad Jessore

You will have noticed that some of them have name's.
I plan to give all sergeants, veterans and sush name's on their base, just as i've already done with some of my orks, Da Blood Spittaaaz.
There will be some pics this weekend, most of them finished but the cap, librarian and venerable still WIP

Sounds cool!

How are you putting the names on? Pen, or painting letters?
I want to do something similar with my Captain, except not a name, but a kill tally

i tried it on my orks and it worked out pretty well with paint and a small paintbrush, i haven't placed any pics of them yet.
with the space marines it will be harder cause it has to be a lot more neat as with orks.
I will try it out tomorrow or something and ther will be pictures tomorrow or in the weekend

i would like to get some pictures in the future
maybe you can place some kind of stickers under the base, with the names of you Sergeants etc on it.

or try these;
http://www.sakuraofamerica.com/Pen-Archival

Lester Bursley uses them.

http://www.youtube.com/user/awesomepaintjob
he has made a tutorial for very much space marine chapters.

@kjellk: I don't think I will use stickers, I want the names on the edge of the base so you can see them easily.
I think I will paint the edge of the base white and write on that with a black fineliner or something.

Here are the first pics of the army, not all were sharp so i have to make some more pics tomorrow.
Balir (sgt. with heavy bolter) doesn't count as a sergeant in game, but I just wanted a sergeant with a heavy weapon.
I haven't finished painting yet on all of them, but the basic colors are done

Make is so that there is no white paper in the shot. Drag the edge of the picture to the mini so that the only thing that can be seen is the mini.

Some more pic's today: the scout squad and the devastator squad, not done at detailing yet, but just couldn't resist posting them.
One of the devastators got a little bit too mush undercoat and now his eyes are flooded. I'm gonna break his head of and find a new one for him.

little non crimson fist update: I watched some leaked pics from the new starter set (dark vengeance) and got really excited about it. I always wanted to have a chaos army of my own and this is the chance, and I even get some DA and a 6th edition rulebook with it sounds good (I havent bought the 6th edition yet)
for anyone who hassent seen the pics of the starter yet: http://natfka.blogspot.nl/2012/08/white-dwarf-leaks-more-starter-set.html\
especially the hellbrute looks awesome and the rest to, although some of the minis are twins and do need some conversion work.
I've also been working on some conversion of a sort of chaos daemon, and I think I will post some pics of him here on this blog, cause I don't now where else I should place him.
(my orks dont like them daemon ladz )

Little update today:
I rebuilded the two devastors, the ones where the eyes flooded, i wanted to break the heads of.
One head did actually break off, the other one didn's, but his legs, arms, backpack and body did, so i rebuilded him from the legs.
He now has a plasma cannon. The multimelta is still whole though, and I will use it for the third tactical squad.

I've also build the first Deatwatch marine, witch I will count as sternguard vets.

And now for something completly different: CHAOS
I've pimped a old demon thing from some kind of bord game (forgot what the name was) and painted it as a test subject for a chaos space marine army I want to start.
front

back

scale comparison

a lot of images for just one dude.
I'm not quite fond of his sword, I may want to redo it, and his hooves/feet to.

And now for something completly different again: guardsmen
these are my dads bunch of pittifull guardsmen, I use them as allies (gun fodder) for my crimson fists.

Anyway, that will have to wait cause I've just got to many things to do with my ork meganobz and battlewagon and my birthday is coming up and I might get some more stuff to build then.

Thanks, I'm building the vindicator now, but before I glue him entirely I will paint the inside cause thats a total bitch to paint when he is totally glue-ed

here is the vindicator WIP, I left the siege schield of for painting purposes.
Front (little blurry, as always I take a tousand pics and only one or two are not blurry)

side

I already painted the inside, but couldn't get it on a pic because it was to dark. I may try it again tomorrow with daylight.
I really like the model, it feels so powerfull and tought, really happy with it.
I almost finished the command squad, but no pics yet. Sorry for that

Here are some pics of the command squad:

these are the first 2 vets, one with PS and one with banner, I left the banner of for painting purposes.
The PS vet's head comes from the venerable dreadnought kit.

Here is 1 more vet and the apoc, the vet has a PF, and his head also comes from the venerable.

this is the Company champ, I made a cape for him witch comes from the skaven nightrunner sprue. (I just love trading bitz)

I gave the vets and the apothecarie swappable heads, just for fun. Now they can take of their helmets and get some fresh air.
The banner vet also has his head magnetized although I haven't found a head without helmet for him.

And here a bonus pic of the command squad doing a conga line

Looks good. Lets see some paint on them

How are you going to paint the banner?

Something like a red fist in the midle, behind it the two headed eagle, under it "# company" and above it some stars or lightning, on the backside will be the company motto: "semper pergendum, nunquam cedeum!"

Update time, I got Pedro Kantor!!!
And, of course, I'm trying to make him even better than the normal model is.

these are all the (blurry) bitz I plan to use on him.

And because he got a sword in the book Rynn's world, and that book is the reason I started collecting Crimson Fists, I'm gonna give him a sword too.
Its made from two combat knives and some kind of empire greatsword. its gonna be on his back, behind the mantle im gonna give him.

Nice cloak! and that sword looks nice too!

Hello people,

Holiday has started, and I'm gonna get myself an imperial guard battleforce and an men at arms box to start converting my own imperial guard regiment.
I will post them and their allies on this tread to as "other imperials", and there is some fluff coming your way about their origin and their allies.
Anyone a guess wich they might be, I will tell you i'm gonna use the space wolf army list, but it wont be space wolves but something more medieval.
(Kjellk, you're not allowed to guess since you already know)

Anyway, I've finished building and converting Pedro Kantor, and appart from a more fitting base, he's done.
front:

back:

The pic of his back is sharper, and there is also more to see, but if you guys want a better pic from the front just ask.
I tried to make him more like the Pedro Kantor from the book Rynn's World and I think I did well.
In the book he has a powersword and an powerfist so I made him a sword, and an iron halo of course. I also gave him a cloak and some sort of banner on the back of his banner.
Bannerseption.
Yo dawg, I heard you like banners
