Subject: Converting my own Sgt. Telion (model advice)
of course mine will look no where close to as imposing as the official model, but I have an extra scout (metal unfortunately) that is going to waste otherwise. I plan on modeling a cloak on with my very crude putty skills, and will put an optic scope on top of the bolter. Now to my biggest question.... how to model his special bolter. I cut off the original barrel of the bolter and plan on replacing it with one of the following (unless yall have better suggestions). To keep it simple in identification, just number the barrels 1-4 going from top to bottom. Thanks!
EDIT: and i will for sure trim them down to proper lengths once one is chosen, their current lengths arent set in stone.
Barrel #3 (suitably cut down, of course) gets my vote, if it's not too chunky. I definitely prefer its design, but it looks like it might be even thicker than the boltgun. If it fits, though, I think it'll look spiffy.
