Hey guys, this is my second blog (the first got all screwed up when I organized my photo bucket) In this plog you can find whatever Im working on and what I have up on eBay, also if anyone requests tutorials painting/sculpting tips I can post those on here too.
for those of you who don't know me here is a brief introduction:

I've been on Dakka now for about two years, I'm a college student who takes a lot of sculpture classes, So I may post some random shots of other unrelated things I am working on, I'm 20 I have been in the hobby for nearly as long as I can remember, I love to paint and sculpt!
Some things you can count on in thread are regular updates, interesting* creations , tutorials if requested and lots and lots of pictures conceptual drawings ect, currently I am toying with some warmachine but dont expect much of that my focus will be primarily commissions and a bit of my own Necron army I just acquired and working to complete the endless trove of random miniatures I have acquired over the years for eBay. I beg you for constructive criticism as I am desperately looking to improve my skills as an Artist, you have any questions do not hesitate to PM me or post here!

Update 8/12/2012

I have been working a lot on the WOC reinforcement project which has been pretty awesome. The project added several new Characters to the army, two lords on jugs, two more on discs (one not shown below it is still being sculpted)

back in October I was asked to make a Tzeentch warshrine, It was one of the funnest aspect of the project and ended up looking like this
My concept was a giant floating chaos fish, and jokingly said to my client last week that I would get around to making him it, well I did just that. It was a pretty striaghtforward build, I used super sculptly for the base of it, added detail in green stuff and some chaos spawn bits here and there ! I have about 16 more marauders to paint, and another lord on a disc, then I have another space wolves project followed by a huge blood angels project!

whats up Dakka,

so I moved all of my painting stuff into a corner of my basement (its a big improvement from where I had been working) I have a ton more space now which is always excellent. So this will serve as my new base of operations until I head back to school in a few weeks,




I will be posting a final update on the Warriors of Chaos tonight, so stay tuned for that (if anyone actually reads this)

the Warriors of chaos are just about rapped up, I still plan on taking some more pictures of them in a light booth. The second disc is still slightly WIP I have been working on added a shield to the model and I cant get it to look quite how I'd like it,

just got around to taking the final pictures of the warriors of chaos reinforcement project, on to some more space wolves and then blood angles!

I like the internal glowing warp effect with the chaos warhounds, it's something I haven't seen done before but really works well, and aside from looking good the effect gives the army some continuity between the models too (blood crushers, sorcerers, etc.) without needing to have them all share the same exact paint scheme.

Oh wow, just amazing work! The floaty fish-monster thing is just so cool.

Update time


so I would have gotten a lot more done today if I didn't get distracted by trying to make bleach t-shirts, this is the best I could do,



its a house greyjoy shirt for you ASOIAF fans out there, thats how huge of a nerd I am . This was my third attempt, I used Reynolds freezer paper, although it has nothing to do with wargaming or my commission work feel free to ask questions about the process if you want!

wolves update, I finished up the first half the the thunder wolf cav today, they still need their bases done but the painting is done for the most part on them!

here are some Blood angel tac marines, waiting stuff I primed today to stop out gassing! I am trying to finish up the spacewolves before I head back to college on Monday!, I am starting my sophomore year and was lucky enough to get a decent sized single, which is awesome because I will finally have a place to paint while at school. Okay update time.

I have had an insane week, getting back to campus, getting back in the swing of classes and trying to do meet as many new people as possible before work consumes my soul.
Over the past few days I finished up the space wolves (sun wolves reinforcements) project I had been working on, this project was just working to add on more marines and new thunder wolf cavalry to the existing army. The cav being a centerpiece for the army I went all out, trying my best at freehand on most of the shoulder pads ect.

hey all, quick update

I have continued working the sanguinary guard, which I am hoping to get finished up over the next couple of days. I am considering putting together a tutorial on painting them if anyone is interested I might make a habit out of doing them. Also the latest project of my eBay venture arrived the other day, If any of you want a closer look at the models/ components let me know!

Great updates! I really like your nmm technique, I tend to blend a lot more that you do but yours are much bolder and bright! Nice to see a hellbrute being all painted up, if anyone can do it justice it would be you!

I've been having a weird week but I got some painting done,

My dog passed away this week so I have been a little out of it, combined with me frantically rushing to get papers turned in so I can study abroad in January last week and this week to come will be hellish. I have been doing some painting none the less, I started some terminators today, and did some work on a group of veterans a couple days ago.

For some reason my iPhone doesn't take pictures of red things well but here are the Terminators,









I will be getting into the habit of more regular updates soon (seriously!)

I got some more work done today, mostly on this Space hulk mini (which I think is fantastic)



and some veterans!

This post is going to be a little bit of a throwback, I went back home today and messed around with my boxes of random stuff and got do some damage assessment on my Skaven army (which has been sitting around in my basement now for a couple of months)
I think I am going to try to get it fixed up and on eBay sometimes before this winter break, obviously my current commission project is priority one, but I am hoping to have some time after I finish that to really bang out some of these unfinished projects I have sitting around, like Calgar and some ultramarine honor guard, and the last remnants of my once great DKOK army which I sold back in 2009. I know this probably isn't the right place to ask but if anyone here on Dakka is interested I am more than willing to make some tutorials/videos on anything to do with Skaven, I have still several dozen unfinished units I need to complete and probably will do one more scratch build for the army. Another thing I haven't posted any pictures of, ever, is my Necron army, I made a little progress after struggling for a while to pick a scheme I was happy with.
