Hey folks, i've always wanted to do a marine army with a white base. So when i decided to do a looted rhino i had the chance to go ape and do a white rhino. As it happens I really enjoyed doing the white colour scheme (maybe as I love weathering models and on white it really stands out).
So this got me thinking, is it time for a colour scheme change, I have quite a bit of stuff already and A: it seems a shame to paint over good looking models and B: I can imagine repainting models can be a bit of a pain.

So my question is, how hard is it to repaint your entire army and different colour or should I start over with a new army.

My current colour scheme, is it worth changing.

Rather than layering up the paint and obscuring finer detail...
You could strip the paint off and start from clean.
I see you're in the UK, Over here Dettol Antiseptic Liquid seems to be the easiest thing to get hold of.
Asda and Sainsburries both carry it, its the original browny orange liquid that stinks like hospitals that you want.
Leave a figure (plastic, resin, metal its all fine) submerged in pure dettol liquid for a good 24 hours or so and the paint just scrubs off with next to no effort with an old toothbrush
A couple of baths in clean dettol each time gets them fresh as a daisy, then rinse them off in water (important; only use water once they are free of paint cus it sticks back to it)

I've recently stripped a load of mairines, you can see the results in a thread called 'reconditioning my marines...'

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!
