This is my Big Momma Cannon from PuppetsWar.

Constructive criticism welcome. This was a pretty big learning experience. Definitely some things I need more work on.

I've wondered what that kit would look like. Your paint job is fantastic and probably helps keep it from looking ridiculously oversized.

That thing is so ridiculous. The painting is good but the model still looks stupid to me. Even for 40k that is beyond belief.

Its a really nice job and all, but personally I think the cannon is way to large for the frame of the vehicle. It just throws it all out of wack

I do understand the dislike of the scale of the kit, however, its 40k! Have you seen a Leman Russ lately?

A poster on B&C now has me wondering how it would look as a Landraider Aires! I will put that on my wishlist for later down the road. I think it would actually look awesome. Better proportions and all.

Awesome model. The paintjob is fantastic, and I have no problem whatsoever with that wildly oversized gun. The dozer blade in particular is really well done. Crisp hazard stripes and nicely weathered.

Nice paint, but I agree that the model itself is silly.

If you have even ONE spare shell within the hull, were do the driver and/or gunner sit?

While the shell of the German "Brumbar" or "Grizzly" or whatever that heavy assault tank is called is large, it is obvious that the shell is not nearly the same size as the chassis carrying the cannon.

Actually you bring up a good point. I have actually already started thinking about converting another rhino into an armored ammo carrier. I have no idea what I would do for rules though. Maybe use it as a Razorback. Reduced carry capacity and heavy bolters to keep infantry at bay. They troops could act as the gun/laoding crew.

Just a vindicator proxy. Although you'd think an apocalypse sized template would be more suitable. LOL

PuppetsWar, the Big Momma kit is the gun, plow, ammo pieces and small ammo crane. You can also buy the plow separately. They sell a two-pack, one plow with no gun cut out and the gun plow.

Getting back to the Vindicator, the painting is quite nice - very subtle highlights showing the edging, and nice chipping.

Were the highlights done with wet-blending? The best I can do is edging, then plenty of clean-up....

Now you have to make a trailer there is no way they can fit more then one round for that thing in the tank at a time.

I tried edging on my first tanks for my silver skulls and personally I am not happy with it at all. It did not turn out that well.

The highlighting on thus was done with an airbrush. You can see how in my 2nd painting video.

My third and final video on this will show the final weathering. I should have that uploaded this evening.
