I have just started getting an army of Micro Armour and I have to say I am very impressed with the models! I am planning on getting a German army because my friend has Americans and I like German tanks!
I have started off by getting a base set and 5 G-58 Marder III. I will be showing you my force as it gets larger and how I paint them. As this isnt my main hobby there may be long gaps in which I don't post but hopefully this will appeal to some dakka users.

Not much assembly is required but here are the assembled tanks. I will be adding bases to them soon.

cheers, I wanted to try something new and a 1/285 scale army sounded different to the 40k scale. Just wanting to find a rules set for these guys.

I have just finished painting the bases with Stirland mud. I have also undercoated 2 of my tanks.

I been getting into Netepic and I love the fact that you can have thousands of models and fit it in a shoebox and have space left over.

Ok, I have been working hard this morning and have finished my current army! My three heavy tanks are Tiger IIB P's and the infantry are German late war infantry. All the Tiger tanks have pinned fully rotational turrets and are mounted on double bases so they fit, I will be using this army in a game soon and I hope these heavy tanks will help me out!

Ok, I got a bigger order in now just take a look! This makes my army stand a good chance now, with 4 more heavy tanks 6 more medium tanks. Five more self propelled guns (heavy). And artillery with three light tanks to cover them. (Not to mention the half tracks!)

I've always wanted to do micro armor, but modern not WW2. Regardless, will watch this thread like a hawk.

Yes I have now been 'cloning' my left over binocular German. Hopefully I can make a clone of an entire infantry strip!
