Ok, So because i plan on starting a Tau army( and i have no impulse control). I bought some stealth suits. First to try out how i wan them painted and because i need to paint something other the white.
Pretty much the only color here i had experience painting was metal. So please Critigue.
Im trying to go for a jungle theme, Brown and green colors, as you can see on the shoulders/groin piece.
So please be harsh

Good. The colour scheme is nice.
Maybe some thinner paint and; smaller brush; less paint and lighter colour for the line highlights?

they look good for a first attempt, color choice is great!, Def thinner paints though. and practice makes perfect for brush control on those highlights. i fnd using a split tooth pick makes it easy on the edge highlights, its stiff so it goes where you want and doesnt wrap the edge like a brush will sometimes.

Great start!
I would go with lighter colors as well.
Perhaps start with a white primer, that will help.
I find that many of my models are a bit dark...I will try to post some pics of my stealth guys...I did a similar thing, but in a desert scheme.
Basically I did:
* White primer.
* Medium color base coat
* Dark spots of camo
* LIght spots of camo
* wash
* Light camo dry brushing to catch some edges and lighten the model up.
Best of luck and for the greater good!!!!!
