I made this, focussing on the conversion aspect rather than painting as I've still yet to finish painting it but i would like your initial thoughts on how this project is going.

Do you know what your sin is, Malcolm Reynolds?
Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.
But right now, I'm gonna have to go with wrath.

The modelling is done well. However, the paint is waaay to thick.

No red cross, or red cressent symbols? Or the Apothacary symbol on the side of the rhino? I would add that to one side for a finishing touch!

Also, if you can, I would try to open the top of the rhino up, and actually place the guy on the inside, he does no good if he is on top, getting all fixed up, and a gets a bullet to the head because he is exposed....

I was thinking the same thing. I would have him inside the rhino and as a little special detail you could always just pop the top off and show him off, then you could use regular rhino doors and do the apothecary symbol on the roof. Also, just a tip for the painting. If you are going to be painting a lot of white the best thing I always do is just simply spray the model white. Seeing how you are BA anyways, white would really make the red pop and would require less coats of paint. I know white can be pretty thick sometimes so I always get my brush wet and make sure my paint is watered down a bit before I apply it that way it goes on smooth and less chalky or textured.

Wow not bad conversion work but the paint looks mop'd on. Easy Off oven cleaner it, and scrub it, and get you a $1 can of flat white colorplace spray paint from wal-mart.

Don't worry though the paint still looks better than my first painted model.

Cool idea. Like others have said, your paint is wayyyy too thick.
