Latest Sodapop painted, Squal. Quite an easy model, only 2 parts, but the staff is a bit fragile. First time I've used the leaves before to create a vine branch, but it seems to have come out well. Comments welcome, but not expected given the interest in the other 4th I've done!!!

Since abandoning the prestigious Doctrine institution, The Caetermane Academy, Squall has plied her skills across all sectors of Wild Space. None can say what awful deed forced her self-induced exile. In rare unguarded moments she can be found in the ships galley, drowning whatever demons haunt her. It is best to leave her alone with her thoughts, unless you are firmly grounded. In battle, Squall is as temperamental as the elements that she conjures. Great arcs of lightening tear holes in bulkheads, electronics are overloaded and fried from the inside-out and nothing but the charred remains of her enemies are left. Privateers and bounty hunters alike pay top credit for the benefits and destructive power that a fully trained Doctrine mage brings to bear. Squall is currently in the employ of the Star Nebula Corsairs, Calico Kate’s deep treasure vaults accommodating even the most expensive of mercenaries.

Gorgeous, love the paintwork on the base and in general. The leaf vine looks amazing.
My only critique would be her eyes; she looks like someone's inserted something very sharp in a place not designed to accommodate such an instrument

I really like the colours and paint job in general on this one. The boots in the last photo are particularly well done.

But she looks a little 'shocked' with wide eyes. Maybe fix up the eyes and she will look much better.

Maybe its just a little cold?

Eyes are my weak point. But some of this one maybe the camera flash. She does have an large Iris in the same Lilac Colour of the boots, but maybe with the flash its blending into the white which is making the pupils seem large.

It's not the iris itself as I think it is the actual eyeball. It looks like she has no eyelid and her eyes are bugging out. I think it all looks very nice but the eyes are a bit..... peculiar. Might just be how the min was made....

Yeah I'd say it was the sculpt more than how it was painted. Just painting the eyes a little bigger may balance it out.
