Hi, well you know the platform models that are really expensive to buy? Well I decided to have a go at making my own using nothing other than card.

Yeah I know that it wont unfurl but that shouldn't matter too much as I can state in game that it is either furled or unfurled. I couldn't justify the expense especially when I want to buy the new rules etc.

Hope you like.

Ok I'll put something together tomorrow which will include pics and measurements. Its a bit fiddle but with a sharp craft knife, some 2 or 3 mm card, some corrugated card and some PVA glue it was quite easy and took a day.

Ill do it as a pdf. and upload it as that will probably be easier and can include pointers and diagrams.

That turned out really nice. It makes me want to build one myself.

Nice work there man!

Imperial guard: Because quantity has a quality of it's own.

Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.

After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right.

Very nice.

Something simple, like a removable banner, could be used to indicate whether the platform is furled or not....

The sides need to be able to move up and down. This represents the deepstrike and invulnerable modes that the platform can be changed to. Two apposing armies can, when in base contact, change the mode back and forth if necessary. I applaud your skills I hope this helps.

Just forgot what I was going to say.

Tutorial is now in the tutorials section and yes I know it needs to fold but it's made of card. I'll work on some means of differentiating between the two states.
