Subject: IG is this legitimate for WYSIWYG?

Hello everyone, I modified some bits from my space marine kits to make IG meltaguns and IG plasmaguns. My question is whether this modification would be acceptable in a tourney game where WYSIWYG applies, as my modifications are different from the GW plasmaguns and meltaguns for Guardsman (they usually have backpacks and tubes connecting to the hand-held melta and plasmagun.
Also, I modified an auto cannon team (used missle launcher stand), and the second guardsman is standing. Is this acceptable as well?

Why wouldn't it be allowed? That is clearly a plasmagun, meltagun and an autocannon.

Of course this is fine, the models are representative of their actual loadout and are difficult to confuse with each other. I like the Plasmagun conversion, by the way.

There fine. If I can get away with gluing SM backpack on my IG and calling it Carapace armour then what you have done is good.

I'd have to see a pic, but that would not be WYSIWYG from the sounds of it.

Not got any pics of them yet as I was going to finished the two vet squads, the LC and CSS before uploading them but they are based on this pic from the 2nd edition image of a Guardsmen.
