Taking a page out of Mushkilla's book (you should really read his battle reports), I've worked out the following list:

Sliscus - 150

5 Wyches - 60
Haywire Grenades.
Venom - 65
2 Splinter Cannons.

5 Wyches - 60
Haywire Grenades.
Venom - 65
2 Splinter Cannons.

5 Wyches - 60
Haywire Grenades.
Venom - 65
2 Splinter Cannons.

5 Wyches - 60
Haywire Grenades.
Venom - 65
2 Splinter Cannons.

10 Wyches - 120
Haywire Grenades.
Raider - 60
Dark Lance.

9 Trueborn - 163
7 Shardcarbines, 2 Splinter Cannons.
Raider - 60
Disintegrator.

9 Reavers = 294
3 Heat Lances, 3 Cluster Caltrops.

9 Reavers = 294
3 Heat Lances, 3 Cluster Caltrops.

Ravager = 105
3 Dark Lances.

Ravager = 105
3 Dark Lances.

I've got 149 points left to make the list 2000 strong. I don't want to take a Beastmaster as they are really pricey to purchase or spam a third Ravager.

Any ideas?

The wyches are good, but I'm not so sure that they are 5 squads good. They'll do great agains vehicles, but if your opponent doesn't have many... they aren't all that great as assault troops on their own (IMO). They work better to back up another assault squad from what I've seen thus far. And you don't really have another assault squad.

My vote for the 149 points would be to get a razorwing with disintegrators.

I agree about the wytches. The squad of ten in the raider just to have more grenades is overkill. Get a squad of ten warriors with a blaster and S. cannon instead. 5 points cheaper and adds more shooting. In a squad of ten you should do something more than just spam haywires.

I would split the reavers into three squads of six instead of 2 squads of nine. More drive by's, more target saturation and better ability to get heat lances delivered.

Keep the raider for the trueborn as a darklance.

I second adding a razorwing, although I would keep the darklances, as you need about 1 darklight weapon per 100 points. Give it a flickerfield too.

Yeah, the large wych squad was pretty much just a filler as I had a ton of Wychs left over.

Not sure about the warrior squad though.

I definitely agree with you about the Razorwing. I wanted to add one, but didn't really have the points to make it optimal.

I will now, seeing as though I'll drop the Wych squad.

Would minimal Trueborn Squads with Dark Lances be any good? They seem cheap. Deploy them a fair way back and shoot stuff from afar?

And finally, on the subject of Flyers, why the Razorwing over the Voidraven for AT?

If your opponent doesn't show up with a lot of Vehicles the Razorwing is better at anti-infantry. And IMO with your Reavers, Wyches and Ravagers I'd take the Razorwing with the Disi cannons, STR 5 can take out light mech, with 6 shots and 2 missiles each round its very likely to glance rhinobacks to death, though optimally you'd be using the missiles for anti blob and the Disi cannons for Anti-TEQ. Which is something your list will have a lot of trouble with otherwise.

Dogfighting is something the Razorwing will be dandy to help with, since fliers can only be hit by other fliers and the Fortification guns by our army and the Fort guns are antithetical to our play style. There are only a couple of fliers with higher than 10 or 11 armor and the one I can think of, Stormraven, has to hover to drop and pick up troops, turning it into a skimmer.

If you have a ton of wyches left over, one tactic i've found useful for them is to outfit three shardnet\impalers in a bloodbride squad and use them as a MC\Independent character assassin squad. No character to challenge, reduce the number of attacks to a pathetic amount, and get a ridiculous amount of attacks in return. Sheer amount of attacks, 4+ invuln, and FNP (which should be given with a haemy\liquifier combo imo), and you can seriously threaten TEQ as well.

And the razorwing seems to be the obvious choice for filling out the list.

I know DE is not built for standing and shooting really, but what are you going to do with objectives? Wyches are meant to bounce from combat to combat, thus making them useless for capping unless it is end game, and trueborn can't cap. I suggest putting in a squad of warriors with a blaster Splinter Cannon in a Raider. You can drop them off and Raider can go off and play some tag, while the warriors use their rifles to create a 24" bubble around the objective and deal with any tanks that wander too close with the blaster.
