I think think Arwen or Aragorn were part of the White Council, and this could just be GW using their creative license, but if this really is something from the second film then it's unannounced and could get New Line very angry.

Well, Arwen is the daughter of Elrond, so Rivendell is her home.

Which doesn't necessarily mean she's in the film. But that's not the point I'm making. The point I'm making is the whole "reveal of potential secret casting/cameos" thing.

If resin = finecast, it will be sad... such wasted potential.

Nope, the White council is in the 2nd film (I think you meant the newly announced third), as the first 2 will include the purging of Dol Guldur (Aragorn and Arwen weren't there, nor part of the council. However, Legolas was at the battle as well, though not part of the council).

Yes, I know the White Council is in the movie (or movies). If you didn't show all the other stuff happening in middle earth than stretching The Hobbit to 2 films (let alone 3) would be very difficult. What I'm saying - for the third time - is that if Aragorn/Awren are in the film, and that was meant to be a big secret, then GW could be in serious trouble over that leaking.

For quite some time, all Finecast models are described as resin cast in their webstore.

Well, the third film would have to be set quite a while after the main Erebor quest for Estel to play any major part, considering he was 10 when Bilbo went there and back again.

Which, I admit, might be an even bigger spoiler for the third part.

BTW, Tauriel was supposedly spotted in one of the recent vlogs from the Hobbit crew and yup, there she is on the list.

H.M.B.C, speculation about the young Aragorn in the films has been rife for months in various Movie magazines/sites, so I don't think GW would end up in the brown stuff over this.

I thought that we had enough of this nonsense in the other thread. It looks like wishlisting, combined with other known rumors.

The LOTR releases are really pissing off a lot of hobbyists, myself included. Many people would rather see GW release more 40k and fantasy stuff. LOTR fans are upset that GW is not supporting the game well. Beorings, elven catapults, and other units had listings in the rules for the better part of a decade, and GW never bothered to make miniatures of them. War of the Ring never got a starter set. Based on GWs mishandling of the LOTR line I could not recommend the game to anyone at this point.

Whilst I agree this is the case in the novels, the movies themselves skipped the 17 year period between Bilbo's party, and Frodo leaving the Shire, so not inconceivable.

Bringing this list back up because it's so much better organized with just the LOTR stuff... I am Very curious about all this!

So we have no word of what would be released before June 2013? Since the movie hits in December...
