Hey Dakka,
I'm new to painting Warhammer, I was into Fantasy before switching to 40K because 40K interested me much more. So I'm going to post a few pictures, and really I'm just looking for feedback.
Before I show the pictures the one thing I do want to mention is that the paint job on the armour is an effect I like. I'm almost certain its not proper highlighting, but the effect if puts on the model I rather like. So if I highlighted wrong I'm sorry, but I like the way this turned out! Anyway to the photos!.
Unfortunately The pictures are sideways, and taken with my Iphone, but bare with me.

Go download a free image processor (GIMP is one of the best) and fix those pictures. You'll get way more actual comments instead of a bunch of "Your pictures are sideways, dude!" replies.

Yeah, I often think I suck too when I look at other peoples photos, but I come to the same conclusion - they're not called pro's for no reason.
I'm just starting out painting Warhammer and i'm working on salamanders too - your's look great! Only thing I would say about the whole thing is I've often read that Salamanders have black backpacks. I suppose it's just personal choice but I paint mine black and it breaks up all the green well. Other than that I think they're pretty good!

Yeah I've read the backpacks should be black, and I'm debating it, really not sure at the moment :p
