He may not be modelled correctly to what weapons he actually carries (Plays the same as Calgar) but I only play social games & all my friends follow a similar customisation love.
I wanted to make him look powerful & daunting, and what better way than to have a missile pod?

Yeah, my guys are the similar to the Deathwatch in that they contain members from all different chapters.
They are Marines who have acted out of line to the Emperor, usually saving the soldier beside them instead of sacrificing them for the greater purpose or osmething else human.
The emperor wants absolute dedication, but the acts of these guys isn't heretical, so he lets them live. The condition, is that he wants the gene seed back to create "Loyal" soldiers, so has bundled these marines together under a ragtag division, and throws them on the front lines to be sacrificed so that the gene seed can be taken back if they die.

This is why they can take chaos weapons etc and use them as their own, as they do not have the resources that the other chapters have, and are doomed anyway.

Hell Yeah i love this.If i cant reach you with my hammer or axe i guess you will have to eat rocket.Seriously i think these guys rock,clever use of the grey knights torso too.Have they been dipped?The bottom pics give that impression.

I think it's picture 5 where you can see the bright orange with the stark white marks. That is literally how the models look, then give it two layers of Devlan Mud and a layer of Badab Black And then you have that finish, but I usually gloss them to give them more durability to play with. Very quick and effective method. You guys have anything I can check out? I just got back into this thing and I am buzzing! Waiting for more models for the Space Marine line!

Yeah this is my own chapter They play like the Salamanders (Hammers and Melta's)

I took a few tips from others on the site on how to improve it, such as the smoke coming out of the back

I like your figs, only thing id suggest is cutting off the ammo belt for the multi melta marine, unless it's a multi barreled heavy bolter.. In which case that's awesome!

Yeah I left that on because in some games I use him as a Heavy Bolter marine

nice work. I like to see the creations propgated from kit bashing....I think it would be a physical impossibility to affix 1 more accessory to your chapter master.

My Chapter masters construction reminded me of a game of buckaroo haha, but he is weighted nicely now and can sit on an angle!

'Kit bashing' may sound derogatory, but it essentialy means your using bits from other GW kits. Exp: the left arm of your Terminator Chapter Master, obviously it didnt come from the Terminator boxed set, so that would make it a kit bash. Also the various hooks you have glued to the missile pod...same thing. Hope that explanation helps. Bit Bashing = 2 or more kits where the parts have been mingled to create your own unique looking models

Ahhh okay thanks haha, and yeah I love to mix, the standard kits are great, but not unique.
