Hi All

Just something I wanted to share, as we all know the eKreoss model really had the bug head feel which we all so hate. Sooooooo I decided to do some conversion work as I hate spending quality paint time on something that is not going to look appealing.

1. The model's head had been cut off and replaced with the resin pkreoss's model from the battle box set (I just ordered a spare one off ebay)
2. I then used a hobby knife and scrapped the back part of the crown.
3. I used some green stuff and started to mold/sculpt the points of the backing of the crown, face guard and cloth around his neck.
4. I hated his spear, so I cut off the blade and pinned and green stuff a resin exemplar errants blade instead. The other end of the spear didn't look well balanceed so I got rid of the end and replaced it with some spare parts.
5. The metal flags kept blending and I got sick of that, so I replaced the the flag poles with strong stern brass rods, drilling/pinning + green stuff.

Comments welcome!

Here is an update of eKreoss WIP! This is how he kind of looks like without the green and metal colors!

Quick update!

Just painted roughly the base colors to see how eKreoss is turning out, finished painting white plates and some metals etc. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it within the next 2 days.

Still required to put put a few more layers for the purple cloth / washes and highlight! Was hoping to have it complete for the last journeyman session but oh well!

Here's another updated picture of the converted eKreoss! Really wanted to see how he turned out I am just dying to field him fully painted!

First picture -
Did all the whites and highlighted! Since mastering the white painting Menoth models haven't been as painful!

Second picture -
Base colors ONLY just to see how he would turn out!

Since last picture -
1. Washes, first level highlight and fully based!

Still having a hard time deciding which colors to use for the Menoth symbol, in the books it's all GOLD but it seems to look so much better to have the default blue!

If You find Your experience of painting white to be painful, try the new GW Ceramite White paint. Although my firm opinion is that the new GW paint range was a wrong marketing decision, there is no reason not to benefit from some of their products. At least, now I have to paint only 1-2 layers of Ceramite White over BLACK undercoat to get a shining white look.

Looking to trade away 15mm Forged in Battle Pumas (still in the box).

Hi all

Again I am back with another new eKreoss conversion. I haven't been so happy with the first conversion as it seemed too basic and it didn't seem so dynamic, so here I am again with my latest eKreoss conversion I hope you all like it!

As usually I always welcome negative/positive criticism, please rate out of 10!
