Heya i love painting and modding but dont play the game so it is a case of buying to paint and then selling to buy .
but im new here and wanted to know what people think of my work.

Bit about my work -
I have only recently came back from a 5 year gap the work i have done over last month was a few space marine bust's (torso arm's and head) to test my ability, was it worth trying to start up again. I decdided i made well as i for the first time ever i tried lighting and makeing the marines eye's glow and belive i pulled it off so ive now moved onto doing some deamon's and my own little twist with the alpha legion chapter.
The photo's will go in order top to bottom in wich my work was done, all and any comment's are welcome i want to find out what people think of my work maybe value it and just let me know what you think .

Night Hawk's Bust :-

The first thing i painted when i came back to this hobby just under a month ago, it was a pretty quick paint. Only attention went into the eye's and freehand on the shoulder.

After doing a sculpt and awaiting a Skulltaker i bought i tried my hand at some daft lava and city baseing to see what i can come up with.

BloodLetter's :-
My 15 strong bloodletter sqaud a WIP to be sold later, first attempt at freehand work with 1st attempt at soem airbrush work on the banner.

The bloodletter's are WIP and have more to come and hopefully better photo's than these im on the look for a decent camera and a lamp to create bette lighting.


Alpha Legion :-

My Alpha legion are my personal army im going to keep and work on for a long time, my own little spin on them that they are the remaining of the Alpha legion that stayed behind to fight chaos and protect human's whilst still shunned by the imperium so they have to also occasionaly defend and raid imperium postion's.









Hopefully better lighted photos will replace these ones.

Thanks alot mate . i was thinking of makeing base's and selling them due to the one's on ebay are quite high prices for what they are. unpainted resin kits of two lava base's for £9 when i could make a full ten man sqaud of base's for around £15 lol, so the base's im thinking of makeing and selling if people get interested.

And yea i love my alphas so far took a while tbh to get the colour scheme going, i wanted to be diffrent to the known scheme due to its linked to chaos and everyone think's that there heretic's so needed to change it but didnt wat to stray to far so purple it was and the tinge's of green across the armour is due to there background of haveing chamelionic armour so there harder to see, so had to keep the green sparkle haha. The white just happened, once again didnt want to follow the original known colour of silver, didnt want to use yellow(contrasting colour) as it would of made them way to bright, and white just worked to be a nice bright colour that wasnt to bright and the freehand worked i was impressed with as i really thought i would not be able to do small lettering but aparntly i suprised myself .

Got another two marine's to paint then thats my scout sqaud done (im doing real scale marine's with terminator's so the normal marine's will be scout's)

Okay so it's saturday and i have been busy.

My baseing stuff came this week super glue 36" of green stuff, magnets and cork board Unfortuantly not the base's :S so ive put my convertted flesh hound's on fantasy base's for now will also make some 40k one's when they arrive. Have not completed the base's need to do the lava with some green stuff soon.

Following throwing together those wolve's my part's arrived for my First attempt at modelling. The basic sculpting tool's and the part's of the model i needed, i have decided as most for my alpha legion army to be true scale. Now ive tried my hardest and as this is my first attempt doing sculpting/converting with alot of green stuff (apart from arm conversion's, furr creation so on) so it's not the best and i hope i can improve with people's help but here is what i have done so farr alot more work to go into it, i know but spent a full day working on it so here is the WIP -

Well that's it for now with the WIP marine - it is all magnetised hence the gaps in the arm's i cant be bothered makeing like 20 of these from scratch so i am makeing 5 diffrently pose legs from scratch, and 5 seperate torso's from scratch and then applying them into a mold so i can quikly duplicate them to create my army.
I am going to also do terminator's wich will be realitively similar, bit extra height with more plasti card, extra bulk with plasticard but useing a terminator torso to destinquish the dffrence and keep the terminator waist gaurd's on.


Next and finaly my Alpha Gaurd - Imperial gaurdsmen sworn aligiance to helping Alpha Legion rid the universe of Zeno's and Chaos at any cost even turning there back on the empror.

Anyway only got a heavy bolter at the moment, i have a heavy wepon's team on the way and 20 gaurdsmen. So the 20 gaurdsmen go with this heavy bolter then the heavy teamm will be three mortars wich i have made a movement/sceneray base for them on the battlefield ( i like my army to look as good as possible ).

Now here is a daft piece of terrain i did whilst bored, it is going to be for the boards in the city fight, either on the side of a road or in a carpark, i like the idea of a carpark with an objective in the center, fight through the cars like on gears of war .

@ Uncool Villian - Thanks mate, i orignaly got Dark vengeanc to sell on for small profit to afford a Spartan assault tank (coming soon) but saw these and thought they would make nice pirate/veteran Guards from Alpharius background. SO thanks for the nice comment

@ Two Spartan - thanks mate was a big risk as was not sure it would work but ill throw up close photo's, got to admit i am quite upset as i missed some flash on one of the guardsmen's arms :( thats the problem with cleanign over 50 guards at the same time haha . Pic soon

Okay so this is more of a text update, so far i have been working hard on my true scale marine's i was going to update with w.i.p's photos, but i am goign to let you now that the first squad is neally done and photos will all be up when there finished from w.i.p's to fully finished, if people wanted to see the w.i.p's i shall post them early. So it will include 1 new captain which is pictured above already neally finished, 1 heavy bolter, 2 normal bolters and one with a melter (if i can find a melter as dont have one myself and my friends all semm to nto have one, or are just being tight lol). Also hopefully have my first contemptor done, had some problems like bad casting had half the shoulder pad's (yes on both) missing badly damamged so was not happy with forge world, following that i found out the base is smaller than i exspected so my idea has been made smaller from a nice diorama of three marine's meeting there end it mite just have to be one or two :( But photos will appear either tommorow or sunday .

These will probaly be the last of the Alpha Legion i do of late due to next wee a new commision of space wolve's will arrive for me to do cant wait so these willl be put on hold, mite open new thread with all my commision work in.

Hello All,

Well been a while since i updated due to i have been sculpting up some mini's and also painting up a commision which i am going to make a seperate blog for.

But on to my Alpha Legion, so far i have moddeled up another four marine's have one left to make but ran out of G.S so have one left to make and the sergeant's leg's to finish. so il throw up the images and hope i have some comments as put some time into these and want some critique so i know how to improve
