Here are my imperial fist test models the 1st picture is what i was going to leave them as before basing them but iv decided to go to the next level of yellow just for the extra brightness.
What do you guys think ?

Thanks.

The brighter ones with the basing look very good! I have two suggestions though:
1. You might want to try a different color for the eyes. Green would look really good, and compliment the red quite nicely instead of looking samey like it does now.
2. More highlights on the red! Even if it's just some extreme edges with a light orange, your reds will really pop and make these models look even better!
I have to ask, how did you get that yellow? It's nice and bright and I dig it.

Hi thanks for the advice I'll try green eyes on my next ones

For the yellow I primed with white used the yellow foundation paint as a base then used yriel yellow for my 1st highlight followed by a wash of devlan mud and a second highlight of flash gitz yellow then a final wash of gryphonne sepia to blend the final highlight.

I hope this helps.

Very cool, I also like the brighter ones better.

If you want to take them further I'd weather them with chipping and a bit of mud (I dunno I think Imperial Fists should always look beat up and muddy for some reason)

I do want to add some mud to the feet and some scorch marks to the backpack vents but I have no idea how to do it and I don't want to do it wrong and ruin the back of the models ?

Some advice would be great
