I wanted to make an army based around mobility as opposed to my somewhat more static army with a bastion.
Shadowsun - 175
Battlesuit Shas'el: MP, PR, MT, BSF - 90
2x Battlesuit Shas'ui: MP, PR, MT - 124
3x Stealthsuits: team leader, FB, TA - 107
3x Stealthsuits: team leader, FB, TA - 107
4x Pathfinders - 48
Devilfish: 2x seeker missiles (for fliers) - 100
9x Firewarriors: Shas'ui, BSF - 103
10x Kroot: Shaper, Armor - 100
Hammerhead: Railgun, BC, BSF, TL, MT, Seneor spines - 180
Hammerhead: Railgun, BC, BSF, TL, MT, Seneor spines - 180
Farseer: Runes of warding, Runes of witnessing, Spirit Stones, 2 cheapest powers to replace with divination - 140
(farseer goes with avengers and uses powers from inside the serpent)
5x Dire Avengers - 60
Wave Serpent: starcannons - 125
5x Rangers - 95
Fire Prism - 115
The Strategy here (assuming i deploy first) is that I deploy the main army in a castle on one flank, built around the pathfinders, hopefully making my opponent do the same. Then the stealthsuits and rangers deploy where they can do the most damage. On the first turn everyone scatters (to attack flanks) leaving behind only the pathfinders in the original castle, and the railguns and fire prism use their range while the suits pick off enemies. Eventually shadowsun deepstrikes (using the pathfinder D-fish) to cause more confusion. Also, my troops are either in transports or infiltrating, so objectives shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Is it worth taking a Shas'o instead of a Shas'el so that shadowsun isn't the warlord (due to dropping into range of the entire enemy army)?
General C&C welcome
