Heya all

This is my first post in this particular forum and i just wanted to share a model that i finally hope is finished. I am forever finding bits to add to my blue and bronze Soul Grinder mind you but here it is. Be gentle

Looks damn good. Interesting choice to combine bronze and blue, but I think it works really well. The bronze looks a little light, (More like brass to my eye) but it still looks good.

Thanks Jim, I was trying to go for a steampunk effect and i think the bottom layer started as bronze but ended becoming more brass like.

It looks pretty fantastic, actually.
The blue is top notch.
I guess the only suggestion I have would be to pick out the chaos icons on the front with something to make them pop more.

Thanks everyone. As I am still pretty new to painting this has been both rewarding and very encouraging.

Holydeath, I was tempted to try and pick out the chaos signs on the leg with a little bit of dark red (same shade as on the other chaos logos) when my hand feels a little steadier. I swear I am always finding something to add to it lol. Thanks for the crit though, always happy to learn and improve ^^

Very eye catching indeed, interested in seeing what else you can do with it

Looks good bud. Sharp glowing eyes would really come out nicely against that blue.

I want a soul grinder but no one locally wants to trade their credit for something painted of mine.

I love it! Truly one of the best colour combinations for a soul grinder I have seen, very nice highlighting for a new painter. The bronze has great shading too. Well done!

Wow thanks again guys, I can't count how many hours I spent on it. I'm really pleased how the bronze turned out and I have to thank the guys at gw for teaching me how to dry brush, that was another first on this model

Aosol I did paint the eyes yellow, although they may need a second layer to make them a little brighter. I shall add it to my 'to do list' ^^
