Hey all, looking for some constructive criticism. I am using the old Snot Green with a wash of Thrakka followed by a further wash of watered-down black, and highlighting with a mix of snot green and bleached bone. Anybody have any useful tips for blending and zenith highlighting? I was giving it a shot but my technique clearly leaves something to be desired.

This does not look like a Successor, it looks exactly like a Dark Angel except the red on the backpack, but that is not enough to make people think twice when everything else, including the iconography is DA.

Overall though, the model looks nice and clean, good technique and execution, especially for tabletop, it is pretty high end.

This cannot be moved into showcase btw as the model is not based, and frankly you would get the commentary you are looking for here in a better fashion anyhow.

great looking model, but not as a successor. Maybe change full backpack color, helmet color, or do like a half scheme

That is actually good to hear, I wanted originally to make a Dark Angels scheme but after getting into the painting with the colors I had available, I thought it might be too light of a green. I tried combating this with washes, but if it seems acceptable as a Dark Angels chapter marine then I may as well call it such.
