I gave my son the dark angels from the new starter set and he started painting them today!! He is going with the Disciples of Caliban color scheme.

I've seen "pro" paints on eBay worse than that...
Really impressive, much more patience than either of my nephews managed. However my 4 yr old makes a mean grot tank.
You should be one very proud dad. I'm with you on the camping thing, though somehow Gitsplitta manages both gaming and camping with his. Go figure.

I like the colors, just think they are too glossy, try using non-glossy varnish next time. Everything else is awesome

I'm not sure if there is a varnish on them at this point. Think the shine is just from the wash, but I'm not sure. I'll have to take a look at them when I get home to be certain.

wow nice job kiddo, cant wait to teach my brother how to paint he is going imperial fist while i have my dark eldar to finish. He rocked the dark angel colours, way better than i was when i started and in some ways better than i am now great brush control.
