For me personally, no SoB fix feels snug and fit unless it brings back the old way AoF's were used.

If your going to use the current AoF system, make it so you generate d3 faith points a turn for every 500 points you are playing. Thus if you are playing a 1500 (or 1750) point game you would generate 3d3 faith points. If you were playing a 1000 (1250) point game you would generate 2d3 faith points. It may not be a perfect solution but it is a lot better then just randomly rolling a d6 for your faith points regardless of many points you are playing.
