Well i wanted some chaos space marines and with having some old excess space marines I thought might aswell try doing some converting as i have never really tried it before, so out have come the random junk bits i keep and with that i have now got a nice long project ahead of me to convert lots of SM.

So far i have only started 1 to see how it goes but have got the basic bits stuck to it just needs some green stuff work and will see what it looks like after that.

Here are a few pics of how it is so far there not the best pics but i have still yet to get my light box back up and running , any tips are welcome

this is a before and after sort of photo

used 2 lenghts of a bow from some fantasy models for horns

the black looking mark if the photo was better is a skull and to extend the pack i used some old lego pipe/cable resembling thing

Will update as it goes

The horns are a little bit too big I think.

thanks will sort that out on the next sm convert

So today i have been trying some green stuff sculpting not the best but i think it will look better once tieded up.
have green stuffed the little sticks on shoulder and added some to the legs, molded some gs around the horns to fill the gaps, also added some cable type bits on the pack and on each arm and figuered well he has the big horns might as well make him the bit of cloth/scroll not sure which yet till i paint it, so here is some pics of how this model is going.

Still a bit more gs work to do but should be on the road to cleaning it up in a day or two and then paint it

So i have been working on this single chaos convert for a few days now and i think the model is about ready just a gap or 2 to fill and i have gone and made him a nice big banner to hold might be a tad to big but not to worry i have chosen to probable go with word bearers for paint job.

As this is my first real go at green stuff and converting things from random bits and SM it seems to be going well for a newbie

put some small drops of glue on so you can see it all set up got to sand and file some bit still so here is the almost finished convert pics.

Well here is the banner still a bit to go on it before this bit is finished

Will try update daily or as often as i can but almost 1 down many more to go

Well here it is the first of a few SM converted to CSM redone some bit of green stuff and just needs some sanding/filing down and then paint.

Just started a second csm and this is how that one is going so far.

Didn't realise i had pressed my thumb on the leg green stuff but luckily i can file it back to normal later.

Will update again soon

From what I can see of your minis, they look great. But at times, its hard to see much. I'd suggest you get a better camera.
