This is one of our older builds but we never got around to posting it. So here is a Pre Heresy Space Wolves build. We used a lot of Forge World and Maxmini Heads to get that pre heresy look, but still used the GW Wolves bodies to give the wolf look. Enjoy.

I like the dark grey/gently blue-ish tone but I think it will deserve a little bit more work. Especially in the form of some lining.

I may be wrong but does plasma-weapons where already developed in the 30th millenium?

Otherwise a nice kit-mesh up for the moment.

Looks good, the pre heresy grey is a pretty good one.

Toban, as far as I know, Plasma weapons did exist pre-heresy, afterall I do believe that Mortarion carries a relic plasma pistol, and a good bit of the stuff that FW produces shows pre-heresy plasma.

Correct if you listen to the pre heresy books to do make mention of plasma. Over all this build was a mix of pre heresy to modern. This was a budget build so we did not have the ability to go all forge world and we had a certain load out to follow. I like the grey a lot, just like dark angels gw screwed up paint along the way and that's why space wolves are powder blue and dark angels are green. The deep red and tin color went great with this build and the secret weapons mini bases dot the build perfectly.
