A little bit of paint work. Still working at it.

Little Quad Walker Annihilator Tank (Leman Russ Annihilator). Not named yet. Note the impaled Tau gun drone. A trophy from a battle.

A few possible aircraft models that could work as Stormtalons at the least.

Brewster F2A Buffalo 1/48
I-153 Soviet Biplane 1/48
F3F-1 Light Naval Biplane 1/48

I still want to see a comparison between the Dust Tactics aircraft (The Horten, Pelican, and Striker etc). If anything, they make good parts for my creations.
I think the most expensive part of the giant Land Aircraft Carrier will be the treads and possible materials to convert the monster itself.

Due to the plastic of the carrier being a different make, formula? Chemical Composition? I dunno.... plastic to say.... plasticard or 40k plastics.
I have a method I've been hypothetically considering to use on it.
Drill a small hole through both the plasticard sheet and the carrier itself. Then use a screw to essentially screw the sheet of plasticard and carrier together. Making an "area" that 40k stuff and other plastic can be glued too.
Will it work. Heck If I know. Ill have to ask on painting and modeling later.

Back to finishing the painting.

The Dragoon Mk2 is up and.... Walking... I guess.

I wanted to have these little story about it flanking a Tau armor unit up a rocky ledge that normal imperial armor would fail to claim with it blasting a Hammerhead or two with its lascannons and of course mowing down xenos with its heavy bolters, before the commander would impale a still struggling gun drone with a piece of metal pipe that is then welded to the front of the tank as a trophy. But I'm feeling rather lazy at the moment in terms of story telling.

Anyways.

Here it is. Finally.

Also got a can of spray paint for basing, and a I-16 fighter that might make a Stormtalon with some tinkering.

I was wondering about ordering that kit and worried it may have issues but I see that it could work with as the size next to the LR turret shows it is larger than the standard IG-LR

If I remember right, not including the "sponsons" I built into its tracks.

The Guntank hull is 2 or 3mm longer than the Leman Russ hull with its tracks make it approx. 4mm wider (2 per side).

It shouldn't be game shattering but I only ever play fun games and never tourneys anyways. Ill get a picture up soon as I finish its painting.

Here we are.

Servitor Tank measurements (AKA Guntank hull measurements with a Leman Russ turret bolted into it)

Guntank is approx. (these were mostly eyeballed as best I could with a ruler I had on hand. Not measured with a laser!)

9 cm wide (from track to track, not including "sponsons")

12cm long (from furthest forward point on the tracks to the furthest back).

4.5cm tall (to the Guntank torso ring)
6.8 or 6.9cm tall WITH THE LEMAN RUSS TURRET, not including things like the hunter killer missile or any antenna.

Leman Russ Tank (to be exact, the Twin Blade Annhilator). is approx.

7.7cm wide (give or take) from track to track (not including sponsons)

11.5cm long from front to back.

5cm tall (just the hull)

7cm tall (with the turret, to about the top of the hatch)

its wider and half a cm longer. but only a fraction off being the same height. The difference is about 1.3cm in width (or 0.65cm from both sides) and 0.5cm in length. with only 0.1 or 0.2 difference in height!

Like I said. Friendly, fun games is what I stick too. I can't bring myself to go to the tourneys. too.... stuffy... I dunno. hyper rules lawyering kills it for me. But some people like it that way which is fine.

The remaining pieces of the Guntank are somewhere in my scrap pile (still on sprue so I can make them out from the rest). I'm hoping that maybe it could be built into a knight or a robot of some sort.... Maybe an Admech Robot, but the arms a bit too long.

I want to keep the head for a knight though, its the closest thing I can find to a "Knight Helmet". I know its silly sounding, But I want my knight to be essentially just that, a giant robotic KNIGHT in armor.

Spoiler:

Come get some heretics

I already want to somehow bring a Knight Titan in the shape of Reinhardt from Overwatch to life. As a Gallant (the melee one, with the fist and sword) with his hammer being his only weapon and shoulder mounted missiles.

I have bunches of ideas for knights, but making something that stands up is a pain. The biggest reason for the wrecked chimera underneath my MK1 Knight is the fact that one of its legs is shorter than the other by a little bit! Just enough that it couldn't have both feet on the floor to stand on its base. So I had to wedge something under the foot to make it stand up right.

Anyways. Ill get back to painting or getting distracted and smashing plastic together until something resembling a war machine appears.

I got distracted.... And found out the 1/48 I-16 Fighter I got was a lot smaller than I imagined it to be. Tiny little plane. But I was not deterred and instead cut it to bitz and built it into a Land Speeder Tempest. That Proto-flyer, speeder thing with an Assault Cannon and TL Missile launcher. its like a tiny little speeder that got an idea one day to imitate an actual flyer and worked really hard on its dream accompanied by 80's workout montages and got far enough that it was for the most part satisfied.

So I have this barrel shaped little proto flyer armed with a rotary cannon and little rockets mounted on wing stubs. It wooshes around at high speed. Then I realized it was 2 in the morning, put this up and am going to bed.

If anything, I can get 2 more and cobbled together and make a squadron to fly off of the Land Carrier.

Again, I wanted to have a story where the pilot of the I-16 Tempest tests the craft back on Schrott after digging it up out in the wastes on the planet then refurbishing it. Said testing would involve mass chaos (not that chaos just craziness) as the craft initially goes out of control leading the pilot to learn to control the powerful craft on the fly while avoiding Marauder attacks (Savage, insane humans that live in the wastes of Schrott, not the Imperial bombers) eventually crash landing to a stop before the commanders of the 91st, who then induct him into the 91st to fly his craft.

But I keep getting writing block in the middle and redoing it. Oh well.

The little Tempest is all set, I even experimented a little bit and used some glue on the base with some gravel that came in a bag for train sets. I think its ballast or something, but with a little bit of paint and stuff and its kinda ok. Meh

Need to think of a name for it. Due to its small size something like Sparrow or Arrow or something.

Not sure what is next. A bunch of stuff is based and there is more than enough to build or modify. Ill get to it at some point.

The T-34-85 turret with a long barrel attached to the rear of a Chimera that was once a Hydra that someone butchered (before I got it) but gluing down a HWT base to its turret ring is getting painted.

Sasha (meaning Defender of Humanity, look it up!) is getting its soviet green like the Sickle, based on a T-80 Light Tank before it. Complete with Red Stars with gold outlines.

The other half of the reason for naming the Tank Sasha was besides the fact its mainly a Russian name (and the T-34-85 was a Russian tank). Sasha is the name of the Minigun used by Heavy Weapons Guy in TF2. So I thought it would be a bit funny, even though its not a Punisher Cannon. I guess Sasha could kill big baby tanks, make them cry.

The greenskins just kept coming. Pvt. Abraham had been poring everything his heavy bolter had into the green tide and they just continued to charge forward. The 34th Macon-5 PDF regiment had been stuck on this rock for hours holding back the orks. The concentrated fire had managed to halt the xenos at a distant line where bodies only continued to pile up only for more Orks to just leap over their dead and keep trying, yelling and waving their oversized blades and guns as they went, firing wild shots in the general direction of the 34th troops. God Emperor had thankfully only had the green skins coming on foot. But the Ork soon had trukks and what could be described as "tanks" rumbling forward. The 34th had little that could pierce the heavier armor. The vox trooper hunched over behind Abe was busy yelling incoherently into his vox only to have his head explode all over abes back from a stray ork shell. Abe fumbled with the Vox and pleaded into the vox for anyone to help. "Hello friend, you need help yes?" a uncharacteristically calm voice on the vox responded to Abe's pleas. "For Feths sake we need anything!". By then the xenos had hit the first defensive line and were tearing through the men all while Abe could only imagine was laughing in demented glee. "Alright friend, Lil Andryusha will sing the xenos a song. Hold tight friend" the calm voice told Abe. "WHAT!? WE NEED ARMOR!! ANYTHING!!". Abe didn't get an answer and could only turn around as one of the Orks was getting closer to him, swinging its axe toward him. Both froze when an ear splitting howling came from above. Only to be replaced by earth shattering explosions as the world around abe turned into a whirlwind of fire, dust, blood and unspeakable parts of someone or something.

The dust slowly settled and Abe could only stare out onto the scorched and decimated area around him. Dead Orks, wrecked ork vehicles and what was left of his comrades was everywhere. The crackle of the vox behind him snapped Abe out of his awe.
"How did you like Lil Andryusha's song?"

My Rhino turned Manticore is done.

Its name comes from a nickname for the heavier rocket artillery of WW2.

I think I still have the "Salamander Light Tank" to paint. I think I'm using the "Soviet Tank Green" (I can't recall its actual name off hand right now). Mainly due to the fact that the Sasha, Lil Andryusha, and later the Salamander are based on Soviet WW2 designs, such as the T-34-85 turret and so on. Might as well get some use out of the paint! Otherwise it was only used for the Sickle!

Back to work.

The Gecko, Light Recon Vehicle is all set to go.

A Salamander scout tank in play. It should do fine. I doubt it will ever see action outside of "Bring everything you got" battles which I haven't seen for a long time now. I suppose it doesn't help I have a veritable legion of tanks, troops and more at my command. Not to mention 3 Super Weapons as well.

I had a vision (ok not a vision, that sounds silly). But I grabbed a Stormwolf/fang when one went on sale for like half off or whatever it was I can't recall. I had no idea what I would do with it. But I had a revelation or insert "eureka moment word here" recently.

The Engines could be built into Land Speeder sized craft to fill out the two slots in the Tempest Squadron. The whole of the Stormwolf/fang fuselage just might be big enough to be a Macharius tank. Maybe not wide enough but that can be fixed.
Was considering bolting additional armor, removing the Helfrost weapon system and replacing it with a large plasma blastgun. The transport capacity will be filled with the cooling system and the hover systems. The vehicle will hover like any other tank (of course no hover rules or any of them rule funkiness.) only a few feet off the ground. armed with sponson autocannons and with lighter weapon (its a hover tank after all), works as open topped. Ill get back if I try to cut plastic on the idea. I also have Knight to finally work on too. Ill get back when things start to take shape.

Smashing together a Knight with tank treads.

Its by no means any where near done. It still needs the elevated joint that connects it to the tracked chassis. Not to mention its cockpit, weapons and more.

heck the chassis needs the third track system for stabilization and additional armor plating.

Its going to be the crusader variant with a Cannon and Gatling cannon. Ill also strap some missiles to its shoulders somewhere for its torso weapon system. Not sure if to plug the Stubber into the Tank Hull or under the cockpit (taken from a Stormtalon long ago) in a gunship fashion ala Apache helicopter or something.

Will keep smashing plastic bitz together tomorrow.

The Knight-Tank (a homage to the Guntank or gundam.) is now 7.1 inches tall. GW site says a Knight is 8. but all over the interwebs I see. "No its 6 inches" "No its 7" "No its 8" and it jumps between them.

Personally I think the model might be about 6.5 or maybe 7 inches tall but reaches 8 inches when its equipped with the hull mounted missile launcher/AA turret. Now... I haven't measured a complete stock GW knight. But I'm sure I could if someone brought one to the FLGS, of which there are plenty of them in the group.

Anywho.

It only needs arms and a cockpit/head with some missile pods on its back and then some. Not sure how to bolt a third stabilizing track, but the entire contraption would be glued straight down to the giant Knight Base anyways, so its not gonna fall over on its own account (besides backwards. but the base prevents that for the physical model at least.)

I was thinking of keeping the shoulder plates off of the Knight-Tank, keep them for another knight. Ill find some sort of armor plate for them somewhere. But its main weapons will be the normal GW ones.

I have two Experimental Knights (Wooo!)

The Knight Tank is almost done build wise.

I scrapped the third track system and instead had a simple trench tail (or essentially two metal beams that act like a wheely bar).

It has a pair of Rocket Pods from a Valk on its top and its got enough armor bolted on to hold up to anything it should go up against. That and its gatling cannon, rapid fire battle cannon, heavy stubbers, flamers, and rocket pods can purge everything in its way.

I don't know what the other two knights will be. I have a pair of legs with no Torso that hopefully will get a body (a more humanoid one) and the other Knight... Not sure....

I have begun contruction on the "Humanoid" Knight.

Instead of ths slouched over and head in the torso style knight. The Head is actually on top of the machine with a giant chest plate on its front. Its supposed to be a reference to Reinhardt of Overwatch. It will end up a Knight Gallant with its giant Hammer.

The side to side swings of the hammer would be the faster "chainsword" strikes (The gallant has both the chainsword and fist). with the slower fist attacks being an overhead smash with the hammer (hammer down).

Of course with a free hand (as the hammer isn't physically a part of the knight itself) it could pick up and throw things like the Fist can.

I'm not sure if I want to mount a Melta to the machine or the Stubber. But I know the shoulder plates will house rockets like the Knight Tank does so it won't be totally unable to strike at range.

The third knight after this beast.... Still not sure what to do with him. I originally wanted a quad legged monster but those legs were built into a Tank. I might be able to craft legs from scratch (a pain, but possible). I might just go normal knight with it with normal legs. But some armor plate will be missing as a lot of armor plates are going into the Humanoid Knight.

JUSTICE WILL BE DONE, IN THE EMPEROR'S NAME!!

I have started building the mighty hammer that will crush the Knights foes. Its an homage to Reinhardt's Rocket hammer with engines on its rear and all. Of course before it can even be wielded The mighty Knight needs arms and hands of course. not to mention armor plate to cover the torso structural components.

The hammer is at least 10 inches long from end to the furthest tip of the hammer head. At the moment it more looks like a giant rocket powered stamp. But I'm hoping to forge the hammer head to a better shape with several layers of plastic that or find a base that could work..

When I get the torso finished with armor plate. Ill glue it to the legs proper. IM really hoping I can finish it before Friday so I can show it off at my FLGS and blow some minds. They havn't seen the Tank Knight yet, but IM thinking of bring both (and the Mark 1) to blow some minds.
Out of everyone at the Hobbytown I go to. I convert and customize more than anyone I've seen. I'm sure they could, possibly even better but that's not important. Its more fun to show and compare creations.

-+Test Footage File:4634+-
-+ Knight-Titan Battle Hammer XT-61+-

A close up of a rather short tech adept fiddling with the camera of the Servo skull pops on screen. The view turns a few degrees to the left and flickers before the Adept backs away and nods to himself in satisfaction. Behind him is a control console with runes lit up and blinking across it and multiple screens wired too it with images of graphs and numbers flickering across them. Beyond that a massive hammer rests on its head, with its extremely long handle attached to a device beyond the cameras view. The Hammer utterly dwarfs the Tech adept as he begins to mumble litanies and other prayers under his breath.
The Adept turned to the camera and with a burst of static spoke to the Camera. "This is Adept Jamie, beginning XT-61 test in 10.0235 seconds. May the machine spirit will it to be successful". The adept holds up a hand as he speaks seeming to cross his digits in a imitation of "crossing your fingers for luck". Turning back to the control panel he chirps "Here we go!". As the Adept activates runes on the panel, the hammer roars to life with rocket engines lighting up the rockcrete walls surrounding the device.
"Test in 3.....2....1.." The adept slams one of the larger crimson runes and the Hammer blasts from its position skyward instantly, before a loud thundering bang followed by the sound of crumbling masonry is heard as the camera is knocked off its perch only to look at the now prone adept behind his console.

The adept soon gets up and his upper body vanishes from view as he inspects the damage. "Holy fek!" is heard before the robed feet of the adept quick runs over to the camera on the ground only for the view to be jerked upwards and brought into the remains of the testing chamber. The scene showed a hole in the solid rockcrete wall and the hammer beyond it sitting on what remained of what could have been a tank at one point, its engines smoking but the entire weapons intact and undamaged by its flight and impact. "I think its a success... Omnissiah help me... DeSat is gonna kill me...". A crowd of people begin to gather around the wrecked tank with the massive hammer crushed into it. "Uh oh..."

The Camera feed cuts out.

-+Vid feed terminated+-

I was so excited as I built the hammer I put the above together.

Not sure its its done. But I love the way its coming out. . I can just imagine it being swung around and crushing tanks, xenos and heretics and more.

Its sheer size also helps too. I think its just cool! the hammer head itself is taller then a Sentinal (or nearly is). Back to work!!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The Lionheart Knight Titan is coming along. It still requires additional armor plate in places like the shoulders and select places in the torso. The arms of course are needed. I'm going to have to build it well enough to physically HOLD UP THE HAMMER. by themselves.
I know its 40k and all and technology and designs are inherently sdarwkcab (<-READ IT). But I think a Knight with a Head on its top (like a Human in appearance) seems much cooler. No gundam stuff, but more a giant hydrolically powered Knight like that of the Renaissance and such. Seriously! Oh well, I suppose it has something silly like copyright and legal stuff made it that way. Bleh

I'm not done. But I hope to at the very least have the structural component of the arms on it before I go to the FLGS Friday night thing so it can hold up the Hammer and look all awesome and such. Of course the Tank Knight will come along as well with the Mark 1 at the head.

I doubt Ill get a game in. There are not a lot of tables. (like at best 5 sometimes.)

The green xenos kept coming. Sally was among the civilians still scrambling to flee the xenos horde as it flooded their town. The PDF were holding back, but only barely. Legions of clanking and grinding machines had been unleashed by the Xenos and they began to cut through the PDF to a man. She threw the rest of her belongings into her autocar and scrambled to drive away with the other fleeing civilians. The road out of town was packed with autocars and larger vehicles all speeding in the direction of safety so they hoped.
Screaming and tires screeching came out of the noise of battle, the civilian cars turning and piling on top of each other. Sally's car was fish tailed and spun into a shop on the side of the road, its rear end smashing through the shopfront leaving her to watch the rest of the cars crash infront of her. Sally was pinned inside her autocar and couldn't move. Only listen to the rhythmic thumping of the Xenos machines approaching through the haze and broken glass. A form burst from the side of one of the buses that once held people of Sally's town, it hobbled around with a clanking and hissing, slaming its claws into any car that still showed a hint of life. A man in a red autocar wasn't very lucky as the hobbling metal machine smashed his car with his screams getting snuffed out on impact. The sound of what sally could only imagine to be laugher seemed to wheeze from within the metal monster. The machine slowly turn around to Sallys car and began to slowly hobble toward her car. So this is how it ends huh Emperor?.
The xenos machine slowly razed its claw for the death blow, but a series of footsteps that dwarfed the foul xeno machine cause it to hesitate and turn slightly to Sally's left, before a tremendous roar and something massive and heavy slammed into the machine, smashing it to pieces and showering Sally's car's hood in metal bits and sparks. The evil machine lay in ruins and Sally in shock, had the Emperor come to save her himself or what?

A massive hammer came down near her car jolted her awake, before the kneeling form of a massive metal man at least 3 stories tall leaned down into view.
"Madam Civilian? Are you alright?", it bellowed at her.
Sally couldn't even answer. Her metal savior turned slightly addressing someone behind him "We have another! Come quickly!" before turning back to Sally "Can you move?"
"N-n-no I can't, I'm stuck" Sally managed to stammer. The Metal Man's head looked over her car and he gave a "Hmph" before extending a giant arm to her car, dragging it out from the shop front like a child would drag a toy before peeling the roof of her car away with a delicate motion Sally didn't think possible of something so powerful. Sally fell unceremoniously out of the wreckage of her autocar, she could barely feel her left arm, but it was still there and she was covered in blood and glass. With a hydrolic hiss and whir, the giant metal man stood back upright and picked up his hammer with a free hand, throwing it over his shoulder.
"W-What are you? Who are you?" Sally asked her giant savior.
"I am Anduin Lionhardt." The metal man announced proudly, bringing a metal fist to his chest in salute. "I am a Knight of the Emperor and Omnissiah, I bring their justice to all."
Sally still couldn't believe it, was she dead? The grinding of treads and footsteps the size of Lionhardt's fortold the arrival of more. A Knight with a giant tank chassis in place of legs ground its way over empty auto cars toward his ally with another machine, that more resembled a walking tank with arms holding a rifle beside it. Beyond them were Tanks and men, all ready to fight and purge the xenos.
Bullets and rockets whizzed past Lionhardt, making him spin around to face the other end of the street, where countless more of those clunky xenos machines stomped their way forward, claws snapping in anticipation of combat.
"Get Behind me! Go to my friends! They will see you to safety!" Lionhardt roared. Sally ran towards the army coming toward her, looking back as she went to see Lionhardt swing his rocket hammer hard, sending a xenos machine flying into the air to smash into a ball of flame, turning to swing again and smash another machine. "HAHAHAH! I LIVE FOR THIS!!" Lionhardt bellowed, a heavy overhead swing utterly flattened one of the larger xenos machine, vomiting flames as it was crushed under the mighty blow.

A hand reached out and grabbed Sally, turning to see a trooper in bronze armor pulling her to a waiting Chimera that seemed to lack tracks, its insides held more disheveled civilians like her in various states of shock and awe. Sally, pushed her way in and opened the top hatch of the Chimera, standing on her toes and a crate inside the tank. Over a small jet engine attached to the top of the APC she could see the backs of the mighty knights with Lionhardt at the front, missiles and rounds flew in all directions, but Lionhardt's jovial laugher rang out over the battle. "We gotta go! closing hatch door!" a voice below yelled inside the APC. The hatch closed automatically and pushed Sally down into the inside of the Chimera. She sat down between a man covered in bandages and a woman that clung to her baby.
"What did you see?" the man stuttered through his wounds.

"...The Emperor's Justice...".

The humanoid Knight Titan, armed with a massive Rocket Hammer is for the most part done construction wise, except perhaps a few tiny bitz like purity seals and stuff.

I know the story was kinda sappy, but I wanted a sort of awestuck kind of thing as a giant Knight defends the people of the Imperium. He is based on Reinhardt from Overwatch so he was going to have a larger than life personality, much like Reinhardt does, even using a few lines he has in Overwatch.

The Hammer actually weighs a good deal (for nothing but plastic), so I am oh so proud that I was able to build the knight that it can actually physically hold up the hammer and himself without things like wires and pins. While sure, pins would help it structurally, I didn't have anything on hand. But either way. Lionhardt stands tall with his mighty rocket hammer.

I think I figured out what the 3rd knight will be the Knight Magaera. The one armed with a Lightning Cannon, Phased Plasma Pusili, Seige Claw and Rad Cleanser.
Due to it being the shorter knight version (like the paladin or Errant) as opposed to the taller ones, it shouldn't be too hard to craft its weapons like the Lightning Cannon or claw. Might make it a Tesla Cannon (thing Red Alert Tesla Weapons, not necron green stuff) and all that. Ill of course need to add armor plate myself as a lot of it was taken for Lionhardt, such as the shoulder pads and leg armor.

Should be too hard. Ill get back when I can.

Good job on the Knight with the Hammer! the short tale was also a nice added touch, allowing a place in the army history.
Sally lives to see another day,,,for now!

The RTX-71 Sentry "Knight-Tank" Is getting painted slowly. There are so many small bitz and nooks and cranies to get into that is a paint. That and a lot of my paint isn't cooperating.

Anyways, Ill keep at it. The Lionhardt Knight Gallant will be next after the Sentry.

The street had Kans and Deffdreads from one end to the other. Target Practice.
With small hand motion, Aiden's mighty machine aimed its weapons. A flick of his left hand and the gatling cannon tore through ork machines, filling with them molten lead. A flick of the right and the battlecannon boomed beneath him and a Deffdread was turned inside out.
Aiden continued his assault of the Ork lines, beside him Andy and his Mark 1 Knight blasted another group of xenos into dust with his cannon, only to swing the chainsaw bayonet attached to the Mark 1's weapon into the still flaining body of a Deffdread turned turtle on its back.
"We have another! Come quickly!" The voice of Aiden's fellow knight bellowed over the vox, a very "enthusiastic" pilot named Andiun who took being a Knight very seriously, but more in a "Noble Warrior" sense.
"Knights, move and cover the civilians, crush those greenskins" The calm voice of Arch Magos DeSat downed out the noise of battle only to be followed by the fire filled voice of Lord Commisar Burgo as she ordered the Artillery to flatten the Ork backlines and bottle them in against the Knights and armor.
The tiny figure of an injured woman fled from beneath the feet of Lionhardt's Knight as he bellowed at her to flee to the advancing troops behind Aiden and Andy. "Come my friends! We have Xenos to slay!" Lionhardt's bravado was infectious, even through the vox circuits and armor plate that separated them. Aiden grinned wickedly and unleashed both guns on the approaching xenos, the thunder of guns beneath him made him feel alive like no other. "We got foot sloggers on the left!" Andy voiced "They got Rokkits!"
"ALL MINE!" Aiden heaved his Knight-Tank to the left and let loose his own rockets, watching them come crashing down on the greenskin's heads and turn them into red mist and gore, anything that still moved was ground into paste by the gatling cannon.

"We have all the civilian's we can locate in this sector, move them to the forward base for processing. Knights.... Press the attack, The Omnissiah wills these xenos die.."
The bellowing laugher of Lionhardt followed the orders from command "I LIVE FOR THIS!!" with a mighty swing a Deffdread was flattened and crushed beneath his hammer. Aiden drove his behemoth forward and opened fire once more, all guns blazing.

The RTX-71 Sentry "Knight-Tank" is done.

Across it I have written a few things, but mainly due to not wanting to screw up a giant emblem or something I wrote stuff instead.

On its front shield is "Scientia potentia est per" or "Power through Science". Apparently its really important if things are capitalized in Latin, as it can mean there are words missing or added and thensome.
The left shoulder plate reads "experimentalis bellatorum" or "Experimental Warriors"
Finally the right plate has its designation "RTX-71" with "crucesignatis" on it or "Crusader" due to the fact it plays as a Knight Crusader.

Now to paint the Knight Gallant

Automatically Appended Next Post:
A few hours of putting paint on Lionhardt, and before you say anything, Its not Ultramarines! I only got the Silver, Blue and Gold on at the moment. I'm going to have to find places for the Mechanicus Red, but I already have places in mind for the Bronze.

I got this layer blue to go with the base blue (their names escape me at the moment), not to mention some base gold to go with the Layer gold that I started with (again, GW names are stupid unnecessarily long because I suppose they can't trademark "Blue" or "Gold" and stuff).

So I'm actually pleased with the Base->layer thing. I know its probably how its "supposed" to be done, but I'm not made of money to get every kind of paint needed to paint like an uber pro. I'm painting a plastic "giant" robot, not the mona lisa (no disrespect to the many who are far better than me).

As for the story, I figured at least one would have "continuity" or some such. Except told from different points of few (being which models are finished or closely associated with them in the story).

I want to eventually include a Imperial Fist marine to join my guys (Mostly due to the fact my Marine in Eternal Crusade is an Imperial Fist and I've been wrecking Xenos and Heretics in it.) That and the Waagh! being fought against in the Story has been given a name "Boss Mek DeffDakka" after my Ork from Eternal crusade as well. More story for that later.

Anywho. I got one layer of Gold, Blue and Silver on Lionhardt.
