Hobbying in Korea.....can be a little frustrating at time. It's just not big over here (ha - understatement of the century) - there's only one GW stockist in the whole country for instance. Get bitz and materials for basing/dios et al is not easy and a lot of 'repurposing' skills become a big requisite. But I get by - lol. The insane import tax makes ordering in stuff a bit of a no no as well; anything over $150 US gets hit with a 30% customs tax so FW lovlieness gets the boot. Ah well.....

Getting some decent progress in this weekend (5 day weekend ftw ) Turmiel isn't far off done (not the most enjoyable fig to paint) and another 3 SH termies are well under way. Lotta bling on these boys!!!

The SH Termies are looking good there Januine. I'm probably going to have to return to the marines at some point - I have got loads after all!!!

I like where you're going with the Space Hulk terminators. Sort of agree with you re Turmiel. Lovely model but he's a got some annoying bits to paint.

Sgt. Gideon is getting close to finish. Just the seals, stones and scripts plus final highlights to go. Was hoping to get him finished today but been a long day painting and my elbow is totally shot :/ beginning to look good though. These SH termies are gorgeous (save the odd annoying bit of detail stretch) but damn they have an insane amount of detail!! Worth it though

The main thing for this guy was to try out a new way od doing power weapons. I'm not a fan of nmm or of those really colourful coloured weapons but I still wanted to try and get some electrical effect on a metal ....think its a starter as a method. Needs some more experimentation

I like what you've done with the Thunder Hammer; looks totally rad.

Thx EDC - been trying to think of a way to do power weapons that I like for a while...not a big fan of the usual blue/green/red wetblended power weapons look. Think this way will suit for me. Need to refine it a bit yet

Sgt Gideon is now finished and based and its onto brother Scipio. He's pretty straightforward and minimum bling so shouldn't take too long to finish up

I knwo they're just for TTS but something about Brother Scipio isn't right.....There's a few transitions that aren't right and I think I need to redo the lettering on his chest scroll. I'll leave him for now and come later after finihing Brother Zael I think

Brother Zael well underway. Bugger wears a lot of script - thank feth that's one of my favourite bita to do! Starting blocking in the precious metals. Think I'll leave it at that for tonight.

Always thought it was strange the dude with the Flamer was covered in paper.
