So I had an old hive lying tyrant around and decided I wanted to convert her to a harpy. Overall I thought it was going to look a lot smaller than it actually does and now that I've given it more thought I think it is fairly appropriately sized. It's only T5 with 4 wounds, I'm not sure that it needs the bulkiness of a trygon body when its not nearly as tough (there I go again, using my logic in 40k). When I get around to it I am going to build a base and have him dodging a missile so it has more of a dynamic feel.

I also still need to build up the stranglethorn cannons without making them so large that the model becomes overpowered. What I've done is fairly explanatory so I won't go into much detail, but I did want to mention that I feel like it's missing something. I was thinking of adding tentacles that drag behind the creature that might help sense wind speed or something like that, thoughts? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the poor lighting which led to poor pictures...I definitely could've done better. Note: I'm one of those people who loves the modeling way more than the painting, requests for painted pics may take an indefinite amount of time.

This is about the angle I expect her to be flying...notice the bent wing, that

I picture shot from the back would show the shape better. Looks good from what I can see though.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Thanks for the response! I took a shot like that, but it came out too blurry. I will take some more later tonight and repost. After seeing it on here today I feel like I need to smooth the wings out a little and make them look a little less daemonic.
