Phew, one of my longer projects finally finished! I've been working on these tanks for some time now, but I'm happy to present them!
I painted the upper and lower hulls separately, then glued them together once I was finished with everything else. The top hull started off with a basecoat of Necron Abyss, followed by successive stippling of Regal Blue, Enchanted Blue, and Ice Blue, followed by breaking those up with some lines of Skull White. I washed the whole thing with Asurmen Blue, then went on the next step.
The yellow was Lyanden Darksun along with some progressive coats and layers of Sunburst Yellow and Bad Moon Yellow, then I blacked out the lines for aesthetic reasons. Gems varied, but the green was Dark Angels Green, Snot Green, and the new Moot Green.
The gold actually varies...the engines and vents started off with Tin Bitz, followed by drybrushings of Shining Gold and Burnished Gold, with a final coat of Gryphonne Sepia. That was...many months ago. Since then when I finished these I went with Balthazar Gold and light layers of Shining Gold and Burnished Gold, with the sepia wash after.
The bases I did up last night and let them dry. Two coats of Lustrian Undergrowth to start, a wash of Devlan Mud, then a drybrush of Knarloc Green and Camo Green. I used some of the Army Painter grass tufts and the foliage flock from GF9 to spruce up the bases.
Hours put into these tanks? I don't even want to know. Enjoy!
