this is an older army i did it the same year SW came out.
i found a better sealer about 1/3rd of the way through, dident leave a yellow tint, i was/am poor so yah had to do what i could with what i had.

It looks really nice, crisp, good colors. have you thought about baseing? i didnt really want to base mine but after i based one they look better. just a thought

Everything looks good except the bases. It's quite bright and detracts from the models severely. A desert-style basing would look good on these guys, I think.

I don't know. I've always kinda liked the old school bases where you just paint them green.

The vehicles look a little strange though, there's not enough contrast there. It's just all white with black lines, it's quite cartoonish.

Since black, red and blue seem to be your supplementary colours on your other minis, why not add a couple of these onto your vehicles?

Solid looking minis, but those bases are really kind of awful imo. The stark green clashes with the white, and there's just no depth or texture there at all.

That's my only complaint though.

wow i dident expect so many nice things,
this army is actually fairly old, and the blue and red are weapon colors in the base troops,(theirs a black weapon squad swell) then i saw the BT had the red strips on the edges for there fast guys and there sword brothers so i borrowed it lol.
i should go back and do something with there bases but the only flock i have any to spare of is the generic grass and coarse black "rock"

as far as the vehicles thats probably a good idea put something in to help identify them. thou the whole army has a clear coat(the yellow tint ones have polyurethane so idk how well painting over that will go

Coarse black "rock" makes a good basing material. Just glue it on, paint it/wash it black and highlight it. Works good. It's pretty much what I do with my bases.

i got a chance to look at what i had, its called corse ballast it is so large it leaves some of the base visable. i might do grass but idk. its an old army and i dont play them too much i am mostly space wolf and thousand sons

Any base but the one you have now would make these models significantly better.

I like these quite a bit, especially the limited edition emperor's champion. However, the captain's blonde hair really sticks out for some reason.
