Been a few years in the making, but my Tau are finally done! It's about 1750 points if I use everything including the Tetras.

I went with kind of a green, swampy colour scheme, with the light blue sept markings of D'yanoi.

Enjoy!

First a group shot:

Crisis Suit Team #1

Crisis Suit Team #2

Devilfish

Firewarriors and Pathfinders

Tetras

Kroot and Shaper (I painted a few with yellow-brown beaks for some individuality... for some reason it looks REALLY bright in the picture... it's much softer than that in person)

Close ups of the Shaper (another weird issue with the colour in the camera... the metal of the Kroot rifles is much more orange than it looks here. It's obviously different than the butt, but in the camera it's hard to tell. My lighting situation is no where near ideal I guess.)

Everything looks great. Very earthy tones that really fit well with the models.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Nice greens!

That's a great collection you have there. Wish I could get greens to cooperate with me as well as you seem to.

I love your earthy scheme! The sharp markings in blue also look excellent on the models, and they look great on those bases. This is probably one of my favorite Tau armies I've seen around. My only qualm is with your photography - you need a lightbox, or some kind of solution where you can shoot them in a well-lit environment without flash. The flash on your camera can really blow out the details on your models, and make them not look as good.

Those fire warriors man... Love it.
Beautiful colour scheme

Of course you should fight fire with fire. You should fight everything with fire.

Well executed paint job man. I must admit that the green doesn't do it for me, but they are very clean models.

Yeah I really need to build me a light box. These were some of the first pictures I've tried in the new flat... and the lighting is crap. I'm surprised the pictures turned out as well as they did tbh.

If anyone is wondering, the green is the old Knarloc Green with Straken Green (new one) and old Rotting Flesh as highlights. Unfortunately I don't have any Knarloc Green left, so if I expand they will look slightly different since Waaagh Flesh is a little darker than Knarloc.

Nice figures - I think a khaki would have looked better than the white. But to each his own. The cadre still looks very good.
