Yeah that smoke is nuts, i for one normally don't like smoke/flames on miniatures, they are hard to pull off and look convincing, but this is incredible!

The green bushes on the model is what i used for the smoke, id start by super gluing a small one on the pipes and work my way up until its to what i want, the colors are easy just prime it black pretty heavy to get all the color out then prime white very lightly on the top part. There you have it.

Spectacular! I'm a real big fan of simple techniques that look great, now i have to find a model with smoke to try this out :p

Yeh that smoke really makes them stand out. It doesn't need any internal support to keep it up? I suppose if you do it bit by bit you wouldn't, trying to rush it probably would need it.

That smoke is damn awesome; I love the green glow you've put in it at the top of the chimneys. Aside from that, the palid green is very nicely done, the green glows are great, and excellent basing! All together a brilliant start, I hope to see more of your Cryx in the future!

i have no more cryx coming out my game store liked them alot so i traded another starter for them, but next up are troll bloods.
