Looking good. Although the basses require some work as well

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

I think you need to thin out your paints they seem a little thick and are also a little messy you might want to look into some washes and highlights as well there are a lot of tutorials on youtube they can be very helpful you do have some good ideas as far as color scheme lol my nids are actually really close to these ones

Actually I think the wash shows very well and improves the overall quality of the miniature by alot
I wopuld suggest using another color than black on the shell, black is very hard to highlight in my opinion. I think a "bone" color would be easy and look good, you can use "screaming skull" and then a brown wash that you prefer like seraphim sephia or agraz eartshade.
Basically using a base color and a wash is the easiest way to create some "depth". The next step is drybrushing and if you want to improve alot it's layering.

I love the blue colour scheme! but i think the minimum table top standard is 3 colours. Even something as simple as a red eye ball is another colour, and then a different colour for the base would also work.
