Here are some Carnifex we painted for a client to match his existing army. We used some really nice blending work on the carapace to fade from dark to light blue. We also used Greenstuff to sculpt some cool, unique bases for the models.
We're always accepting new commissions at Frontline, so check us out for our very reasonable prices if interested! http://www.frontlinegaming.org/portfolio-items/tyranid-carnifex/

I was also going to say that the Carapace looks very smooth.
Brilliant work!

I agree with the carapace assessments above but I have to say that base is my favorite part!

Thanks guys! The carapace is hand blended, too. It came out really nicely. The client is very pleased.
Yeah, the bases are pretty sweet, the artist who made them sculpted them from Greenstuff, they came out really nicely.

Looks nice, but man do MC Devourers make me cringe! So stubby, although that is no fault of yours. Cool bases and very pleasing scheme

I dig the carapace. But it seems I am in the minority about the bases. I feel the colors on them clash with the Carnifex and take away from it.

@60mm
Haha, I know, makes them look like short bus T-Rexes! I always put one pair of Scything Talons on mine to make them look more intimidating and just counts as them as 2 sets of Devourers.
@Darkness
Yeah, it is a sharp contrast, but the client really liked them so we ran with it.
