Hey guys! It's about time I created an evil army, and I conjured a huge random inspiration. Nids are quick, easy, and have no tanks (I dont enjoy painting tanks) and I figured they'd be perfect for me! As you read from the horrible pun in the title, i'm collecting hive fleet kraken and I've completed my first test model and the rest of the squad have been primed and had their 2 washes. Just have to detail the carapace and face and they're done. So i'll leave you with the pics and please tell me what you guys think! More 'nids on the way!

My plan really is just to make this army large enough so i can just take things out for my list. Id like one of every MC and then a massive swarm of wee ones. The awesome vision i have is an awesome hive tyrant with tyrant guards at its sides and then some MCs and warriors on flanks and then just

A preview of things to come...

Fantastic Kraken scheme. My only criticism would be the sprue scars, most noticeable behind the main arms near the shoulder and behind the head. Painting with washes really makes these stand out.

Seconded, the paint scheme is great, but the models themsleves need cleaning up. Either than or paint the deformities as battle scars or tumerous growths.
