hi, creating this thread to show my progression of my wood elf army - i'm a bit of a forum noob so be warned

the theme is based around autumn colours, so red, orange, yellow, browns and blue as contrasting colour

so far only 8 glade guard have been completed and based as well as 5 dryads - everything else in still w.i.p.

Glade Guard:

dryads:

for the forest spirit units (dryads, treekin and treeman) i've used autumn foliage from woodland scenics and the wood has been painted to look like birch trees. I've used bark and sticks to make the treekin/man - i don't really like the GW models for them.

treeman:

treekin group 1:

treekin group 2:

and finally my forest dragon - i figure it has been dormant like the high elf dragons and has got things growing on him. The head is borrowed from the stegadon kit and the rest is sculpted from greenstuff - i kinda forgot that he needed a rider and so i'll fit the highborn onto the base, shooting a bow or something.

after taking photos of the dragon the owl got knocked off the horn and lost somewhere - i like it better without the owl anyway

thanks for looking - will post more soon
