The middle of nowhere

OK here is an idea for those of us who love the hobby but are financially challenged. I found theses cases at Micheal's craft store for about $3 a pop. They measure about 7 inches by 11 inches and have 20 compartments in them and 19 of them are about 1 3/4 inch by 2 inches. Then all you do is cut some foam to place in the bottom and your good to go. If you gotta transport long distances just use some tissue paper on top to help pack them in. If you got a guy with a banner or something like that, just take some sprue clippers and cut out a section to fit. Now I don't have terminators yet, (I hope Santa is good to me this year) but if you use a set of sprue cutters I'm sure they would fit that way. As for vehicles still working on that and will update when I find an idea. So in closing jewelery box for Micheal's $3 dollars, foam anywhere form free to about $2 bucks so for about $5.00 you can have a case that works well on the super cheap!

It is the way of Fenris. We stay as long as we can. Fight as hard as we can. Kill as much as we can. Only when we can do no more do we move on.

Sometimes you gotta roll the hard six!

Not a bad idea at all. I've been looking for cheap carrying case ideas, and you may have just sold me on one possibility.

Not a bad use for extra blister foam.

The only issue I’ve had with these Michaels boxes was that it doesn’t stop models from jostling around. Some times bits snap and bad days happen, Otherwise good for the price.

Oh my god I'm becoming martel.
Send help!

This is perfect for me, I don't have many models so this would be a great way to store my stuff instead of taking up all my shelf space.

Try looking in the bead (jewelery) isle. Same thing... cheaper.

I have 3 of those. 1 deep and 2 shallow. They fit nicely in the bottom part of my rolling toolbox I fond at Walmart. My troops are in the shallow ones while my heavy teams and sentinals and tank turrets are in the deep one. They work quite well.
Oh, you can also find them in the fishing area of the sporting goods department.

Beat me to it. I used this for a long time before getting a good case. I still use the little flip-side tackle boxes (about 6" x 4") from Walmart for my spare bits. And a normal 3-tier tacklebox for transporting my paints/tools when I gotta go anywhere.

Keep 'em coming

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
