Well I was thinking of incorporating an all female scratch company from the Gaunt's Ghost Novel
So far I'm giving them all shotguns because it was a lot of close quarter fighting any other ideas I've started a squad grouping all ages in.
I was starting to model them after Kolea's force with Banda as the sniper but snipers + shotguns?

Nice idea to model the Scratch companies! I'll be following this one, I think!

I'd like to see a shot of the female minis you've done together with a GW miniature (a Cadian, or possibly a Tanith) to get a feeling of the scaling of the minis. I don't recognise them, though! Where did you get them?

In terms of the weapon choice on the tabletop, you could do two teams, both under the Veteran rules, which give you a lot of flexilibity. That way you can do one team with shotguns, improvised flamers and other "sweep and clear" weapons, and another with Sniper Rifles.

Finished is not perfec...
