A quick question as to what you guys think.

So, for my Khorne Bikers, I was considering using the new Fantasy Warriors of Chaos Skullcrusher models. I am, however, afraid that they would be too tall and/or wide to be suitable as bikes. I would, of course, give them the necessary backpacks, shoulder pads, guns, weapons, etc. to say "Hey, I'm a marine!" I have the Skullcrushers already as I needed them to make my Khorne Lord, but I don't have any bikes to compare the sizes. Any thoughts?

EDIT: This should go without saying, but I will find a way to put them onto the bike bases as well. Shouldn't be too tough, as the juggernaught's feet are pretty closely spaced.

The juggernauts ARE quite large... they might look a little goofy, but you could try.

Good luck!

I think that sounds pretty amazing. I'd love to see what you do with the conversion from fantasy to 40k. Good luck!

Why even try converting them into bikes, those Skullcrushers are like 80 for 3 and turning them into plain boring bikes are a huge waste to me.
The CSM codex don't even mention the Juggernauts so theoretically you can slap on twin-linked something onto your juggernauts and make them count as bikes. Or if you like a challenge you could always try removing the Jug's legs and replacing them with wheels to make it a proper badass model. Thats just me though.

Unfortunately you can give charater models Khorne Jugs to ride. I wouldn't be happy to see regular bikers on them due to possible confussion during games - sorry just my opinion.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

58 for 3 in the states. So still a bit more expensive, but so much cooler.

I am inclined to agree with bubber, however. Having both my bikers and my lord on Jugs would diminish the awesomeness of my lord, which is unacceptable. I would have to find a way to make the lord's Jug somehow more visually distinct...

EDIT: Another possibility is using the unmounted Juggernauts as spawn. But I think spawn are on terminator bases... and that's pushing it a little bit, as the Jugs fit comfortably on dread bases...

I think it depends on what kind of games you are playing. I tend to like fluff armies, and playing against people who have fluffy armies. I think that it would be pretty easy to discern because if there are three chaos lords on juggernauts coming towards you, you're probably not going to forget about them.

Or what you can do for slightly cheaper, if you go the route, get the daemon version of them, they're slightly cheaper and modfy csm legs. they're essentially the same mount with the added bonus of already getting the 60mm bases.

I used the horses from the Chaos Knights kits to build my bikers. They work pretty well with the CM squad kits, and it's a bit more economical. I'm just going to paint the horses up in ethereal colors to give them a demonic look. I recommend this route.

As for the twin-linked bolters, I just explain it as the riders being very skilled shots.

Thanks for that. Perfect shot, exactly what In was looking for. A little too large to be a biker for my tastes.
