Just finished this for my ever growing IG army.
I will be using her, as the title suggests, as a Lightning as I feel that the FW and GW fliers are too big and bulky to be able to filed many.

This originally started life as this-

but when it disintegrated as soon as it left the box, I fell in love with the Art-Deco look of the pieces and decided to try and rebuild it for my Guard.

The pilot was the hardest part as he is made up of some random metal seat (possibly really old attack bike) and about 5 sets of legs chopped and melded back together in some Frankenstein manner, with a Greenstuffed bomber jacket.

The seat is (just Googled some pics of the old metals), I did pull one of those apart a while back for the engines, but the pilot is a mish mash of plastic Guard parts!
